Job Overview:
We are seeking a Social Media Senior Account Executive to join the CG Life social media team. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in strategy, content planning, development, execution, and analytics for a diverse range of social media campaigns. This includes creating engaging social media content and designing professional-level graphics, as well as understanding how to maximize the reach and impact of content and measure results on a range of platforms.
Candidates should be familiar with and enjoy communications associated with clinical research and healthcare products and technologies, including disease awareness, drug discovery and development, medical device development, product approvals and launches, patient education, and applicable regulatory procedures and guidelines.
This is a hybrid role, and employees will be expected to come into the New York City office at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Serves as the primary social media client contact for multiple accounts.
- Provides strategic recommendations including influencer mapping.
- Develops project scopes and briefs.
- Develops and implements social media campaign strategy, platforms, content, and analytics reporting tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
- Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for social media posts.
- Schedule and oversee social media content using scheduling platform Sprout Social to ensure clients have a regular social posting cadence.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users, creating community engagement and audience interaction.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
- Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations agency, in-house communications at a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device company, hospital or laboratory social media content management.
- Proficient in designing original graphics optimized for a range of social media platforms – experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a major plus.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging and understandable content.
- Understands the U.S. Food & Drug Administration guidelines for industry use of social media.
- Proficient skills using social media platforms, including their respective strengths and demographic nuances.
- Ability to analyze and interpret social media analytics to guide strategy.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

At CG Life, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 USD and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan. CG Life offers a variety of benefits, including health benefits, 401K retirement with a generous company match and immediate vesting, and flexible time off.
