Job Description

Hello, Blue Hour

Blue Hour Studios is a social-first content agency that builds community and fandom by playing at the intersection of creators, culture, content and commerce.

We understand the value that different perspectives can bring to our clients and culture, so we strive for an environment where our employees feel welcomed, safe and empowered. We value YOU and believe that your authentic voice and unique perspective allows us to create a more rewarding culture and experience, together. Our simple recipe for success? We hire talented people (thinkers, doers, dreamers, makers), challenge them and give them every opportunity to grow.

What You’ll do

Blue Hour Studios sits at the intersection of culture, content, creators and commerce, and our Account team sits at the center of our client relationships and the work we deliver.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Account Supervisor to own client relationships and lead the day-to-day execution of complex social-first programs across creator marketing, social strategy, content creation, creative production and beyond. You will serve as a trusted client partner, translating business objectives into thoughtful work while connecting the dots across internal teams to keep programs moving forward.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple accounts, projects and priorities. You’ll be expected to balance strong client leadership with hands-on execution, strategic thinking and commercial responsibility, while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow our client relationships.

70% Account Management & Execution
  • Own assigned Blue Hour accounts from end to end, serving as the primary day-to-day client lead and managing programs from brief through execution and reporting

  • Build a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives and audiences, translating their needs and feedback into clear direction for internal teams

  • Lead day-to-day client communication, status meetings, presentations, kickoffs and briefings, confidently providing recommendations and navigating feedback

  • Manage the hands-on execution of client programs, including timelines, deliverables, briefs, approvals, client materials and account documentation

  • Coordinate closely across Strategy, Talent, Creative and Media teams to keep work moving efficiently and ensure teams are set up for success

  • Proactively anticipate project needs, challenges and risks, developing solutions and keeping both clients and internal teams aligned

  • Own project scopes, budgets and account financials, maintaining visibility into spend, resourcing, profitability and potential scope changes

  • Lead client reporting and campaign recaps, translating performance and learnings into meaningful insights and recommendations for future work

30% Client Relationships & Organic Growth
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships based on trust, responsiveness and a deep understanding of their business

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner, connecting day-to-day programs to broader client objectives and bringing a strong point of view to the work

  • Stay current on social platforms, creator marketing, audience behavior, cultural trends and the competitive landscape, bringing relevant opportunities and recommendations to clients

  • Partner with Strategy, Talent, Creative and other subject matter experts to develop social-first strategies and creative approaches that solve client challenges

  • Anticipate client needs and proactively bring forward ideas and opportunities rather than waiting for a brief

  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and expand Blue Hour’s work organically

  • Develop and deliver persuasive client presentations, strategic recommendations, proposals and scopes in partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Maintain visibility into the overall health and trajectory of assigned accounts, proactively communicating key risks, opportunities and recommendations to senior leadership

Who You Are
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently juggling multiple accounts, projects, timelines and competing priorities at once without sacrificing quality or attention to detail

  • You are highly organized, proactive and comfortable operating with minimal oversight, taking ownership, making decisions and anticipating what needs to happen next

  • You are a confident account leader and trusted client partner who takes responsibility for both the quality of the work and strength of the relationship

  • You are a collaborative team leader who is comfortable providing guidance, feedback and support to more junior team members

  • You are a strategic, solutions-oriented thinker who can see both the details and the bigger picture, connecting day-to-day execution to broader client objectives

  • You are an effective communicator who can confidently navigate clients, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • You are collaborative by nature and skilled at bringing together different disciplines and perspectives to solve challenges and keep work moving

  • You are culturally curious and passionate about social, creators, content and the trends shaping how people engage with brands

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to quickly adapt, problem solve and prioritize when plans shift

  • You are an advocate for and supporter of diversity, equity and inclusion

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant agency experience, ideally within social, creator marketing, integrated marketing or client services

  • Demonstrated experience independently owning client relationships and simultaneously managing multiple complex accounts, projects or workstreams

  • Experience leading social-first and creator-led marketing programs from strategy through hands-on execution and reporting

  • Strong project management skills with experience managing scopes, budgets, timelines, forecasting and cross-functional resources

  • Strong understanding of the social and creator ecosystem, including platforms, audience behaviors, cultural trends and evolving best practices

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate client business objectives into clear recommendations and actionable plans

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with experience communicating with senior client stakeholders

  • Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize competing needs and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Proficiency within Google Workspace, including Sheets, Slides, Docs and Drive
