About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant at ShopMy, you'll be a core part of the Finance team, supporting the day to day accounting operations that keep the business running. You'll bring solid accounting fundamentals and industry experience, and thrive in a fast moving environment where priorities shift.
Your Impact to the Role:
- Support month end and year end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with internal controls, compliance, and audit preparation
- Partner cross functionally to gather data and resolve discrepancies
- Help identify and implement process improvements
- Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements as needed
You Are Energized By:

- Using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high growth startup environment preferred
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Based in NYC or the Bay Area
Bonus Points:
- CPA certification or currently pursuing
- Experience with modern accounting software and tools
- Familiarity with the creator economy or digital marketing landscape

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission, and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
