Veta Virtual is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist for one of our Financial & Accounting Services client. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, remote startup environment and wants to help leading companies scale smarter.

🔑 Your Role:

As a Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist, you’ll work as part of our client’s team, providing financial support to their standout startup clients. You’ll take full ownership of their revenue cycle and ensure smooth financial operations from quote to cash. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Leading end-to-end revenue operations — from generating quotes and invoices to reconciling discrepancies, tracking receivables, and ensuring timely collections.

  • Review accuracy against order forms, and resolve discrepancies with sales or customers.

  • Responding to customer and sales questions on invoicing, taking ownership of collections, and confidently pushing back when needed.

  • Supporting accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with the accounting team and reviewing SQL query outputs.

  • Optimizing key systems (QuickBooks Online, Stripe) while leading upgrades, automation projects, and process improvements.

  • Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding billing, invoices, and payment statuses.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, with strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations.
  • Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle (quote-to-cash).

  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Stripe, plus ability to review SQL outputs for accuracy.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies and push back when necessary with customers or sales.

  • Experience with process improvements, system upgrades, and automation projects.

  • Familiarity with startup accounting practices and ability to adapt to evolving priorities.

  • Bonus: experience with Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Mercury, Chase, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp.

  • Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with high integrity, ownership, and coachability, who can work independently or collaboratively.

  • General awareness of how AI is being applied in accounting and operations (a plus).
