Senior Associate, Acquisition Strategy - J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing
As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our online investing platform by driving new customer growth through innovative strategies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing, and reporting on marketing initiatives to acquire new customers for J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing. This includes developing and managing consumer-facing marketing campaigns, managing acquisition budgets, conducting customer analyses, championing strategic initiatives, and working cross-functionally to advance growth initiatives through digital channels.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be an excellent communicator, capable of crafting compelling narratives and delivering high-impact presentations.
This is a highly visible role with significant interaction with cross-functional teams and leaders across the firm. It requires close partnership and integration with product marketing, analytics, product owners, finance, and cross-line-of-business growth teams. The role reports to the Head of Acquisition Marketing for J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to acquire new customers for our online investing platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, finance, and creative teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Tackle business problems, formulate hypotheses, and design rigorous test-and-learn roadmaps.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that distill complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Present key findings and strategic updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Champion seamless and consistent customer experiences across digital and in-branch channels.
- Build business cases and secure funding for growth programs.
- Analyze customer behaviors, market trends, and program performance to identify new opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience in performance marketing, strategy, management consulting, or project management
- Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills; comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to create impactful presentations for senior audiences.
- Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines.
- Skilled and comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bring experience in performance and digital marketing, strategy, management consulting, or project management
- Demonstrate B2C marketing experience
- Illustrate experience supporting business development in a fast-paced environment
- Highlight success in collaborating with cross-functional teams
