About the role and team

Uber’s Commercial Sales Enablement team supports our multi-billion dollar Delivery business, including Uber Eats, Grocery & Retail, and Direct. We equip our sales teams with the capabilities, tools, insights, and processes needed to increase seller and account manager productivity, accelerate growth, and improve merchant outcomes.

As the Senior Associate, US&C Commercial Enablement New Hire Onboarding, you will help new Account Executives and Account Managers build confidence, develop core selling and account management skills, and achieve early productivity during their first 60 days. Working alongside new hires in a designated Uber office, you will facilitate onboarding, deliver ongoing training, and provide practical coaching as they apply what they learn to real customer conversations and commercial activities.

You will partner closely with frontline managers, Enablement teammates, and subject matter experts to deliver a consistent onboarding experience, identify where new hires need additional support, and reinforce the behaviors that lead to success. This role requires a strong facilitator and coach who enjoys working directly with sellers, stays organized across multiple onboarding cohorts, and uses feedback and performance data to improve the new-hire experience.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver new-hire onboarding: Facilitate Uber’s Fast Start onboarding program for US&C Account Executives and Account Managers, coordinating sessions, practice activities, assessments, and milestones throughout their first 60 days.
  • Provide hands-on, in-office support: Work alongside new hires to answer questions, reinforce training, troubleshoot common challenges, and help them apply learning to their daily work.
  • Train and coach core commercial skills: Lead workshops, role plays, call reviews, and individual or small-group coaching on topics such as prospecting, discovery, objection handling, pipeline management, account planning, merchant engagement, and effective use of sales tools.
  • Help new hires reach early productivity: Support new hires as they build pipeline, conduct customer conversations, manage accounts, and work toward role-specific ramp milestones. Identify gaps early and coordinate targeted support with their managers.
  • Partner with frontline managers: Share observations on new-hire readiness and progress, align on coaching priorities, and support a clear handoff from onboarding to ongoing manager-led development.
  • Coordinate the onboarding experience: Maintain cohort schedules, track participation and completion, coordinate subject matter experts, and keep onboarding resources accurate, accessible, and relevant.
  • Use data to improve outcomes: Track learning progress, skill assessments, tool adoption, and early productivity indicators. Combine these signals with feedback to recommend and implement improvements to onboarding content and delivery.
  • Reinforce effective tool use: Help new hires use Salesforce, Seismic, conversational intelligence, and approved AI tools effectively in their day-to-day work.
Basic qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, sales, account management, Commercial Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience facilitating live training, onboarding, workshops, or structured coaching for adult learners.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing teams or working in a sales or account management role, with an understanding of core commercial activities and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs or recurring activities, manage schedules and competing priorities, and follow through on operational details.
  • Experience using CRM, learning, content management, or reporting tools to support daily work and track progress.
  • Ability to use performance data, observations, and feedback to identify learning needs and recommend practical improvements.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, provide actionable feedback, and communicate effectively with new hires and managers.
  • Ability to work from the designated US&C Uber office/hub according to Uber’s applicable work schedule, with in-person presence aligned to new-hire onboarding and coaching needs.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience onboarding or coaching Account Executives or Account Managers during their initial ramp period.
  • Experience in B2B sales or account management, particularly within a marketplace, technology, advertising, delivery, or merchant-facing business.
  • Experience facilitating role plays, reviewing customer calls, assessing readiness, or providing individual coaching tied to specific skills and behaviors.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Seismic, Tableau, conversational intelligence, or comparable sales and enablement platforms.
  • Experience adapting training materials and activities for different roles, experience levels, or learning needs.
  • Experience tracking onboarding effectiveness through measures such as time to productivity, skill proficiency, pipeline creation, customer engagement, or early commercial results.
  • Curiosity and practical experience using approved AI and automation tools to improve training, coaching, or seller productivity.
