Company Description

Company Description

OleOle is building a global social network and messaging platform for football fans. Our mission is to create a single global community where supporters can follow their club and country, connect with other fans, message and call each other, follow live matches, discover content, and ultimately access a broader ecosystem of football products and services.

The OleOle platform combines social networking, encrypted messaging, live scores, video, multilingual content, payments, digital wallets, AI, and Mini Programs designed around the global football community.

OleOle Sport is one of OleOle’s core business units, focused on ticketing, VIP hospitality, and football travel. The business will provide access to hard-to-get match tickets, hospitality experiences, hotels, and complete travel packages for major football matches and sporting events around the world.

OleOle Sport will operate through its own standalone consumer website while also becoming an integrated Mini Program within the larger OleOle platform, connecting OleOle’s community directly to tickets, travel, hospitality, and payments.

We are now looking for a technical leader and Website Architect to take ownership of OleOle Sport’s technology platform. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone capable of architecting and building the website and underlying commerce platform, integrating ticket and travel inventory from multiple providers, and ultimately building and leading the engineering team responsible for OleOle Sport.

The right person will have significant experience building high-scale consumer commerce, travel, ticketing, booking, reservation, or marketplace platforms and will be comfortable owning the technology from architecture through production.

OleOle — Where Fans Kick Off.

Job Description

OleOle is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to build and manage our global LIVE Scores infrastructure across football, basketball, Formula 1, cricket, golf, boxing, tennis, and other sports.

The engineer will integrate Enetpulse’s sports-data APIs and develop a scalable, provider-independent backend capable of supporting hundreds of competitions worldwide. The architecture must allow OleOle to replace Enetpulse partially or entirely with alternative data providers without rebuilding the platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Integrating sports-data APIs for live events, results, standings, rankings, fixtures, and statistics.
  • Designing flexible data models for different sporting structures, including team sports, motorsports, individual competitions, and combat sports.
  • Building real-time data processing, synchronization, caching, and monitoring.
  • Developing APIs that support unique frontend experiences for each sport.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, reliability, scalability, and efficient provider switching.
  • Connecting sports information to OleOle’s existing microblogging platform without interfering with its 4U recommendation system.

Requirements: Strong experience in backend development, third-party API integrations, real-time data systems, databases, and scalable architecture. Sports-data experience with Enetpulse, Sportradar, or similar providers is highly desirable.

We want an independent, technically exceptional engineer capable of taking full ownership of the LIVE Scores backend and collaborating with our existing frontend and design teams.
