Your work environment at EXP

EXP is seeking a creative and dedicated Senior Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Transportation and Infrastructure practice In New York. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with sector/practice leaders across the firm in numerous markets.

What your experience looks like

  • Produce and ensure delivery of top quality, on-time and effective proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, etc

  • Work closely with business development, practice leaders, and project delivery staff when producing proposals, etc. with local offices and across regions/borders. Responds to their priorities and direction

  • Obtain information needed from consultant firms to be included in proposals. 

  • Assist with or provide the initial mock-up of proposals for the proposal team leaders. Writes portions of the proposals as appropriate

  • Brand ambassador 

  • Create and update new project sheets and staff resumes to be used for marketing purposes. 

  • Create marketing collateral as needed, ensure compliance with brand guidelines and design consistency

  • Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities.

  • May support client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings and may participate in client engagement team meetings

  • Assist with awards submittals 

  • Assist with maintenance of marketing files (electronic and paper), including up to date files of proposals, interview materials, images, resumes, project data sheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

  • Interact with EXP marketing and communications staff in other offices to obtain/exchange information as needed

  • Visit project sites to learn and understand what we do firsthand.

  • Update and maintain EXP’s CRM system / Deltek 

  • Attend networking and industry events

     


What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Word document layout, formatting, templates, styles, and proposal production

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe InDesign, with experience creating and editing proposals, qualifications packages, brochures, resumes, presentations, and other marketing materials

  • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals, AEC industry terminology and delivery methods

  • Competent in marketing theory and practice

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills

  • Persistent, enthusiastic and driven

     


The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
