Senior Business Partner

About the role

Tetra builds custom tooling and automated systems for established enterprises.

We're hiring a Senior Business Partner to open doors, build relationships with large enterprises, and turn them into long-term partners. You'll bring an existing network of enterprise relationships you can activate from day one, along with deep expertise in a particular sector (finance, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, healthcare, or another established industry where we can create real value).

This is a senior, high-ownership role. You'll own the top of the funnel and the relationships that come with it: finding the right companies, getting to the right people, understanding what they actually need, and bringing them into engagements our team can deliver on.

What you'll do

  • Build and own a pipeline of large enterprise partners, drawing on your existing network and sector expertise

  • Identify the companies where Tetra can create the most value, and find your way to the decision-makers inside them

  • Lead early conversations with senior executives: understand their business, their priorities, and where we can help

  • Work closely with our forward-deployed and engineering teams to scope engagements that we can actually deliver and that the client will value

  • Own relationships from first contact through signed engagement, and help set them up for long-term success

  • Develop a point of view on which sectors and types of companies Tetra should focus on, and help shape our go-to-market approach

  • Represent Tetra credibly to senior operators

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or a client-facing role selling to large enterprises

  • An existing pipeline or network of enterprise relationships you can activate quickly

  • Deep expertise in at least one specific sector, with a real understanding of how companies in that industry operate and buy

  • A track record of building relationships with senior executives and turning them into closed engagements

  • Strong commercial judgment (an understanding of where the value is, who's paying for it, and what a successful engagement looks like)

  • Clear communication and the presence to hold a room of senior stakeholders

  • The ability to work autonomously and own outcomes in an early-stage environment

Helpful

  • Familiarity with how modern AI and automation are changing enterprise work, and the ability to speak to it credibly

  • Early-stage or founding-team experience, where you built the go-to-market motion as you went
