Job Summary

International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. seeks Senior Category Manager in Dayton, NJ, to develop regional Soy and Vegetable Oil category strategies for assigned categories and sub-categories to ensure raw material supply, manage costs, and capture savings. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation: utilizing SAP ERP to manage end to end procurement process including leveraging SAP for supplier management, purchase order processing, invoice tracking, inventory management, and financial; utilizing CLM tools to manager interactions with suppliers, including approving new materials; managing vendor and product documentation utilizing vendor quality database; managing vendor specifications including working with regulatory information and raw materials; utilizing Power Bi platform to perform spend analysis, identifying saving opportunities, diversifying strategies, and developing market intelligence for decision making; performing category strategy developing including translating category strategy into actionable plans and presenting to key leadership team members; performing cost optimization including year-over-year productivity savings to business units; negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, resolving conflicts, and building strong stakeholder relationship; managing a budget across commodity categories including soybeans, soyflakes and commodity oils. 40% national and international travel required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
