About the Role

Our Agency team is rapidly expanding as we enable large independent and Big 6 agencies to bring the highest quality market research to our clients. In doing so, our agency partners are able to provide increased value to their clients and increase the quality of their other offerings and campaigns. In addition, for agencies in the NewtonX Agency Partnership program, we provide the highest level of support with a focus on assisting in training, new business development, thought leadership and assistance with client pitches.

The Senior Client Partnership Manager’s (CPM’s) primary role is to support commercial growth for our agencies through strategic sales and operational excellence. This position is focused on growing and retaining NewtonX’s largest US independent agencies, as well as bringing new agencies into our Partnership Program. As an Agency CPM, you will be working with agency C-level to create strategic initiatives, as well as, agency account teams to develop client opportunities.

Location: NYC preferred; Remote in the US for well qualified candidates

Travel: 20-30% if NYC based. 30-50% otherwise.

In this role, you will:

  • Own a robust independent agency book with full revenue ownership, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities in existing relationships

  • Bring in new agencies to our services and the NX Agency Partnerships program

  • Work closely with agency C-level on strategic cross-agency initiatives

  • Serve as the primary contact for agency account teams and help them identify and pitch market research opportunities to their clients

  • Act as the quarterback of the agency account by leveraging cross-functional relationships with NewtonX teams to bring the best of NewtonX to our agencies and their clients

  • Provide value to our agency partners through trainings and co-hosted events

  • Manage end-to-end proposal process for contracts from $10k to $500k+ from intake to research methodology design and pricing

  • Utilize research expertise to design innovative and comprehensive proposals that meet client research needs

  • Help to design and develop scalable processes and tools that make the team more effective and efficient

What you have

  • 5+ years of experience working in agency sales at a top-tier tech company or market research firm

  • Track-record of consistently exceeding targets

  • A strong network of decision makers across the top 30 independent agencies in the US

  • Experience working with agency and client C-level, as well as conducting scalable in-person motions such as trainings and events

  • Experience in research or insights is optional, but preferred

  • Demonstrated executive presence and business acumen; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A real hunger for excellence and success

  • Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong sense of ownership to independently drive high quality deliverables and outputs.

  • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn and be coached.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
