Who are we hiring? 

The Senior Coordinator Marketing Strategy will assist with the implementation of strategic marketing and promotional campaigns to increase ticket sales, fan engagement, and brand growth for the New York Knicks. This individual will serve as liaison between internal departments and external agencies, partners, providing tactical marketing support.

What will you do? 

  • Support evolution of the team brand strategy and development of yearly integrated marketing strategy
  • Manage day-to-day execution of ticketing, gameday promotion, partnership activation, and more, ensuring consistency of the brand narrative across all messaging and channels
  • Build planning and tracking documents, plus marketing calendar/promotional initiatives to increase engagement and drive retention
  • Assist in writing briefs for the creative process and support internal creative internal resources
  • Support planning and execution of the Westchester Knicks business and marketing efforts
  • Support Knicks merchandise team in promotional efforts across year-long sales cycle
  • Collaborate cross functionally to support marketing planning, team partnership platforms and activation
  • Support season ticket membership platform inclusive of events and communication
  • Track department marketing budgets
  • Serve as liaison for day-to-day communication and promotional activities with cross functional departments
  • Provide operational support including researching, recording and filing of department projects

What do you need to succeed? 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of entertainment or event marketing experience with a strong passion for sports
  • Strong and resourceful problem-solving skills in a high-stress and deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the highest level of attention to detail
  • A team player who is collaborative, positive and flexible
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be willing to work some nights/weekends for event and game coverage

  • Non-traditional hours may apply based on team schedule and external event schedule (Nights/evenings/weekends)

Pay Range
$51,000$69,000 USD
