We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our team in a DTC-focused role. You are a seasoned professional known for consistently producing high-quality, impactful content. You will be responsible for creating compelling and compliant copy for a variety of pharmaceutical marketing channels. You will report to the Associate Creative Director.
This role is open to remote candidates in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone.
Responsibilities
- Develops copy that aligns with briefs, strategic/creative direction, and brand guidelines.
- Independently write and review copy for pharmaceutical marketing materials, including digital and print initiatives (eg, brochures, websites, banner ads, emails etc.)
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting stringent deadlines.
- Collaborate with art resources to ensure continuity between copy and design.
- Implement tone of voice, style requirements and other brand messaging guidelines based on the needs of the client and target audience
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical/regulatory direction to ensure accurate and compliant content.
- Review reference sources, develop annotations, create accurate citations and reference content in tactics when necessary.
- Present copy and final deliverables to the internal team.
- Anticipates and proactively resolves creative challenges.
- Contributes innovative ideas that align to the brand’s marketing strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in copywriting, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with team members across departments.
