The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance and wealth management spaces, understand how to speak to different stakeholders across the complex purchasing journey, and be adept at writing for highly regulated industries.

You will collaborate closely with strategy, content strategy, account, visual design, UX design, and production teams to craft messaging that resonates with insurance brokers and benefits decision-makers at large companies. If you have a passion for making the complex feel simple, a sharp editorial eye, and a portfolio that proves it, we want to talk to you!

Please have 4+ years’ experience and include a link to your portfolio demonstrating insurance copywriting experience. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

B2B Copywriting

  • Develop compelling copy for group health- and life-insurance brokers and decision-makers, translating complex plan details into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Create content and copy assets centered around wealth management for our client’s financial-advisor audience
  • Write across the full digital ecosystem: email/CRM campaigns, paid search ads, landing pages, video scripts, and long-form content.
  • Craft tailored messaging for group insurance brokers and decision-makers.
  • Ensure all copy meets regulatory, compliance, and brand standards for insurance communications.

Digital Copywriting

  • Write copy for performance marketing channels including paid search and display advertising.
  • Create email sequences, nurture campaigns, and CRM communications that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Develop landing page copy optimized for UX and conversion, working in partnership with UX designers.
  • Script video and multimedia content, bringing brand storytelling to life in visual formats.
  • Contribute to content strategy initiatives, including thought leadership articles, white papers, and educational content.

Collaboration & Production

  • Partner with strategy and content strategy teams to develop messaging hierarchies, value propositions, and positioning.
  • Work closely with visual designers and UX designers to ensure copy and design are in sync across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with account teams to understand client goals, brand voice, and audience needs.
  • Work within Figma to review designs, annotate copy, and support production-ready deliverables.
  • Partner with production teams to ensure copy is formatted and delivered accurately across channels.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of copywriting experience in digital-first environments, with demonstrated B2B insurance copywriting experience in the healthcare and/or life insurance space.
  • Online portfolio showcasing insurance copywriting and digital channel expertise. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Proven digital copywriting skills across email/CRM, paid search, landing pages, video scripts, and audience-based content.
  • Experience writing about complex products and initiatives within highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in insurance marketing.
  • Experience working in Figma as part of a collaborative design and production workflow.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with strategy, content strategy, account, visual design, UX design, and production teams.
  • Strong understanding of audience-based marketing and ability to adapt voice and messaging for distinct B2B seller and buyer personas.
  • Excellent command of grammar, style, and editorial standards; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Wealth-management copywriting experience.
  • Background in performance marketing, content writing, and/or UX writing.
