What this role is about:

As our Senior Corporate Development & Strategy Associate, you'll work directly alongside our CEO and COO on the decisions that shape where RapidSOS goes next. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role spanning fundraising, M&A, strategic partnerships, and the commercial opportunities leadership is chasing in new verticals. You'll turn complex analysis into clear narratives, through sharp financial models and polished presentations, that land with senior executives and our board. You'll also work in an AI-forward way: AI tools handle first-pass work like dataroom review, so your time goes to the judgment calls that matter most.

What you'll do:

• Own RapidSOS's core growth model, including revenue growth levers, key SaaS metrics, and scenario analyses that inform leadership decisions and critical board reporting
• Build financial and operational models and business cases for M&A, strategic investments and partnerships, and new product development
• Lead diligence efforts, using AI to accelerate initial data room review and analysis while you decide which areas deserve the deepest scrutiny
• Partner with sales, finance, and operations to shape and build on forward growth plans, including go-to-market strategy, new vertical development, and M&A integration
• Support leadership on high-priority business development opportunities in new verticals, structuring the materials and narratives that move deals forward
• Create executive- and board-ready presentations and analyses, using tools like Claude, Coworker, and Replit to work faster and share work in formats leaders can easily review

What we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a similar field
• Hands-on experience with three-statement modeling and key SaaS metrics
• Exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail, with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills; fluency in Excel/PowerPoint or Google Suite
• Comfort working directly with senior executives and board members, and the ability to distill complex analysis into a clear story
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for using AI tools to automate routine analysis and elevate the quality of your work
• Pioneering: the tenacity to work independently and as part of a team to overcome obstacles and solve problems
• Purpose over pride: a low ego, strong work ethic, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Based in NYC and able to work from our NYC office 2-3 times per week, with flexibility depending on projects at hand
• Travel: Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time on an as-needed basis

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options and performance bonus.
