About Lume and Mando
Founded in 2017, Lume is a transformative personal care brand on a mission to normalize body odor beyond pits and provide people with outrageously effective solutions so they don’t have to think twice about odor. We are pioneers of the whole body deodorant category, with a portfolio of odor-blocking products including anti-perspirants, aluminum-free deodorants, body washes, body creams, cleansing bars and laundry sprays. Lume products are OB/GYN developed, made with skin-safe ingredients that are gentle enough for the most sensitive parts and often referred to as “life-changing” by our customers. In late 2022, we launched a men’s line called Mando, bringing our expertise to the men’s personal care category. About the role
The Senior Counsel - Mammoth Care will serve as a strategic legal and business partner to the Mammoth Care business unit of Mammoth Brands Inc., which includes the Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume and Mando brands. This role will support key aspects of the business unit’s commercial activities and help shape and execute relevant legal strategies that enable Mammoth Care’s near- and long-term growth.
This role requires a senior, business-oriented attorney who combines strong commercial judgment with a deep understanding of the business unit’s brands, operations and stakeholders. The Senior Counsel will work closely with Mammoth Care leadership and cross-functional partners to identify risks, unlock opportunities, and deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice.
This position will report to the Senior Director, Legal, of Mammoth Brands Inc.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key business partner and advisor to select members of the Mammoth Care executive team and commercial functions across the business unit
- Develop and execute legal strategies that align with and support Mammoth Care’s near- and long-term growth plans
- Advise on, negotiate, and draft complex commercial transactions and agreements, balancing legal risk with business priorities
- Collaborate closely with Mammoth Brands enterprise-wide legal functions on employment, intellectual property, data privacy and litigation matters affecting the Mammoth Care business unit to ensure optimal business and legal outcomes
- Manage outside counsel and relevant strategic and planning goals for the Mammoth Care legal function
- Provide or oversee training to the business unit on pertinent legal topics, as appropriate
Qualifications
- Strong judgment and the ability to provide risk-calibrated, business-focused legal advice in a fast-moving environment
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and address “over-the-horizon” risks that could impact business objectives
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability with cross-functional partners
- Clear and effective communicator, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance
- Role model for company culture and norms, including ownership and constructive partnership with the business
- Bachelor’s degree and J.D.; admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant corporate and/or commercial legal experience, including significant in-house experience
- Experience across a broad range of legal matters relevant to consumer companies, including commercial transactions, direct-to-consumer businesses, and data privacy (prior experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is a plus, but not required)

The Mammoth Brands working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday. We can’t quantify all of the intangible things we think you’ll love about working at Mammoth Brands, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $205,000-$230,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
