We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure on Azure, with a strong focus on the secure, efficient, and compliant processing of healthcare data (DICOM medical images). This role will be key in defining architecture, automation, and optimization strategies, directly impacting global healthcare solutions.
What You Can Expect (Responsibilities)
Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and continuous software delivery.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and reproducible environments.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PHI), applying best practices.
Define monitoring, logging, alerting, and cost optimization strategies across Azure environments.
Collaborate with engineering and data teams, acting as a cloud subject matter expert.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in complex, enterprise environments.
4+ years of experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred, ARM or Bicep).
3+ years of experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).
3+ years of experience in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
2+ years of experience working in regulated environments, applying standards such as HIPAA or similar.
Advanced English
Proven experience designing secure solutions for handling sensitive data.
Strong autonomy and ability to drive technical decisions
Nice to Have
Experience with medical imaging and DICOM standards (Orthanc, dcm4che, PACS).
Experience with large-scale data architectures or Real-World Data (RWD).
Experience with Azure-native databases (Cosmos DB, Azure SQL) and performance optimization.
Background collaborating with data engineering or machine learning teams.
