About the Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and financially rigorous Senior Director to serve as a trusted execution partner to the COO & Co-Founder/President in our Office of the President. This individual will operate as a strategic catalyst for the executive office, advancing key enterprise initiatives, funding strategies, and commercial execution across the business.

The role is ideal for a professional who combines top-tier strategic problem-solving with deep roots in capital markets and corporate finance. The successful candidate will bring experience supporting senior executives within banking, payments, or fintech, with a proven ability to navigate funding execution, capital allocation, and high-growth commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Finance & Executive Partnership: Serve as a financial and operational advisor to the President, translating executive priorities into actionable operating plans, accurate financial forecasts, and measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Capital Markets & Funding Strategy: Partner with leadership to drive the "funding" side of the business, supporting debt and equity financing, capital allocation strategies, and relationship management with investors and lenders.

  • Commercial Execution: Build rigorous frameworks and mechanisms to improve forecasting accuracy, capital efficiency, and operating discipline across revenue-generating functions.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Risk, and Strategy teams to advance critical initiatives, evaluate funding scenarios, and optimize liquidity strategies.

  • Operational Optimization: Monitor key financial and business metrics, identify operational gaps, and build scalable reporting systems to support business growth and increasing financial complexity.

Qualifications & Attributes
  • Experience: 10+ years across capital markets, investment banking, FP&A, or strategic finance.

  • Sector Expertise: Prior experience in consumer banking, payments, fintech, lending, financial infrastructure, or integrated B2B solutions.

  • Technical Acumen: Deep expertise in financial modeling, enterprise budgeting, variance analysis, and evaluating complex capital markets transactions.

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the demonstrated ability to support and influence C-suite leaders, boards, and external financial partners.

  • Execution Focus: High degree of ownership and accountability, paired with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable business recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Location & Working Model
  • This role is based in New York City.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in-office 4–5 days per week.

The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience. 

Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

Compensation Range for New York Based Hires
$225,000$275,000 USD
