Title: Senior Director, Ecommerce

Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 annually. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, and budget. 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

The Senior Director, Ecommerce will lead the growth and optimization of Vince’s digital flagship, owning the end-to-end ecommerce experience and performance. This role is accountable for driving revenue, conversion, and customer lifetime value through enhanced site merchandising, digital product innovation, and data-driven decision making.

This leader will partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Planning, Operations, and IT to deliver a seamless, brand-elevated customer experience. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, deep technical expertise, and a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Digital Product & Experience Leadership

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end digital customer experience, with accountability for conversion, engagement, and revenue growth
  • Define and execute a comprehensive CRO roadmap, including UX enhancements, A/B testing, and emerging technology integrations
  • Lead the development of improved user journeys across navigation, product discovery, and checkout to optimize the path to purchase
  • Drive personalization and segmentation strategies to deliver relevant, brand-appropriate customer experiences that increase conversion and lifetime value
  • Establish the foundation for next-generation commerce, including AI-driven discovery, AEO, GEO, and emerging agentic shopping experiences—ensuring product data, content architecture, and site infrastructure are optimized for evolving search, discovery, and conversational interfaces
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver scalable digital capabilities and enhancements

Site Merchandising & Brand Storytelling

  • Oversee site merchandising and content strategy, ensuring alignment with brand vision, seasonal priorities, and commercial goals
  • Translate product and brand strategies into compelling digital storytelling that blends content and commerce
  • Continuously optimize product presentation, assortment flow, and onsite messaging to drive engagement and sell-through
  • Build elevated, editorialized experiences that reinforce Vince’s positioning and brand expression

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Own site analytics and performance reporting, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable business impact
  • Monitor and optimize key KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and customer retention
  • Leverage data to inform merchandising, marketing, and product decisions across the digital ecosystem

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Champion a test-and-learn mindset with a strong bias for action and data-driven decision making
  • Mentor and develop team members, creating growth paths and elevating overall bench strength of the team 

Qualifications / Experience We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years of ecommerce experience across digital product, site merchandising, and performance optimization
  • Proven ownership of ecommerce KPIs and P&L responsibility
  • Strong experience with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud (preferred)
  • Deep familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) and experimentation frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within complex, highly integrated technical ecosystems
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with an end-to-end mindset and proactively drives initiative through to completion 
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and highly collaborative
