The Senior Director of Global Merchant Health sits at the center of Riskified’s core business: ensuring our merchants achieve optimal performance, trust, and growth on our platform. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility leadership role responsible for a global team of analysts who partner closely with merchants, prospects, and internal stakeholders to monitor, optimize, and scale performance across Riskified’s portfolio.

This leader will balance deep analytical and fraud expertise with strong people leadership, business acumen, and the ability to operate comfortably in client‑facing, high‑pressure environments. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert for complex fraud scenarios, performance optimization, and emerging trends, while also implementing the processes, and tooling needed to scale a global operation.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this role is critical to Riskified’s success and visibility with both internal executive leadership and our most strategic merchants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑caliber global team of analysts, located across New York, Tel Aviv, China, and Brazil.
• Build a strong team culture that thrives under pressure and values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Own the end‑to‑end performance health of Riskified’s merchant portfolio, ensuring optimal outcomes across approval rates, fraud loss, customer experience, and revenue impact.
• Partner closely with merchants to understand their business initiatives ( and translate those needs into analytical strategies.
• Lead responses to complex fraud attacks or performance anomalies, driving cross‑functional action plans with urgency and clarity.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to deploy and optimize models, while advocating for real‑world merchant needs and field insights.

• Serve as a senior, client‑facing leader in the most strategic and complex merchant conversations (Confidently present insights, recommendations, and performance narratives to executive‑level stakeholders.
• Support pre‑sales and prospect conversations as a trusted fraud and performance expert, including selective on‑site meetings and events.

• Bring a strong mindset of operational excellence, process design, and scale.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve tooling, and leverage AI to increase efficiency and impact across the team.
• Ensure reporting, dashboards, and presentations clearly communicate performance and insights to internal and external stakeholders.

• You’ll be at the pinnacle of Riskified’s core business, with real ownership and impact.
• You’ll work with world‑class talent across analytics, data science, risk, and commercial teams.
• You’ll help define how Riskified scales Merchant Health globally through process, automation, and AI.
• You’ll play a key role in shaping how merchants experience and succeed with Riskified.

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience leading senior, high‑performing analytical or fraud‑focused teams in a global environment.
• Strong background in fraud, risk, AML, payments, or eCommerce analytics
• Proven ability to operate at the intersection of analytics, technology, and business strategy.
• Comfort and credibility in client‑facing environments, with strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated success building scalable processes, automation, and operational rigor in complex organizations.
• Global experience working across regions, cultures, and time zones (strong plus).
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, high‑visibility role with significant executive and client attention.

The base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $240,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City. Base salary is just one part of the pay package at Riskified. All full-time regular employees receive a bonus target and are eligible to receive stock-based awards.
