Leads Samba’s global Sales Engineering organization, setting strategy, scaling teams, and driving enterprise revenue. Partners with Sales, Product, Marketing, Data Science, Legal, Security, and Client Success to position advertising measurement and data products, lead C-suite engagements, improve win rates and deal cycles, develop value and ROI models, establish solution standards, influence product roadmaps, and support successful customer handoffs.
Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.
The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.
You own the global Sales Engineering function that powers Samba's enterprise growth: setting strategy, leading a high-performing team, and turning complex data and measurement products into clear business value for C-suite buyers. You combine technical expertise with consultative selling to position our enterprise products as trusted solutions and empower sales teams to close deals, emphasizing measurable value in media activation, TV measurement, planning, tune-in analysis, and outcomes-based strategies.
- Set Strategy and Operations: Define the sales engineering charter, org design, coverage model, and annual plan, manage headcount, budget, and capacity, and shape pricing, packaging, and partner strategy with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Lead the Team: Hire, develop, and lead managers and senior individual contributors across regions, building career ladders, coaching rhythms, and enablement such as discovery guides, objection handling, demo paths, and certification.
- Drive Revenue Impact: Lift win rate, shorten cycles, and raise annual contract value (ACV) through value engineering, return on investment (ROI) models, deal reviews, and stage-gated technical close plans, with strong forecast hygiene.
- Sell to the C-Suite: Lead C-suite workshops and points of view on TV measurement, tune-in, planning, and outcomes, navigate procurement and redlines with clear trade-offs, and represent Samba at industry events and strategic accounts.
- Set Standards and Governance: Ship reference architectures and solution patterns for activation, measurement, tune-in, and outcomes, and oversee security, privacy, and clean-room standards with Legal and information security on enterprise diligence.
- Influence the Roadmap: Translate field signals into product bets with Product and Data Science, validate them through proofs of concept, and align with cloud, clean room, and data partners to ensure smooth integrations.
- Partner With Client Success: Partner with Client Success on handoffs and time-to-value to reduce post-sale risk.
