At Skillsoft, we propel organizations and people to grow together through transformative learning experiences. We believe every team member has the potential to be AMAZING. Join us in our quest to transform learning and help individuals unleash their edge.

Skillsoft is undergoing a bold transformation, rearchitecting growth marketing into a high-agency, AI-enabled engine for enterprise impact. As Sr. Director, Velocity Growth, you will lead one of the most strategically critical charters in this transformation: activating learner-to-enterprise flywheel dynamics that convert individual engagement into enterprise pipeline acceleration.

This role is built for a growth operator who thrives at the intersection of performance marketing, lifecycle orchestration, and product-led growth. You’ll architect and execute full-funnel strategies that drive learner acquisition, engagement, and monetization, while also operationalizing learner signals to accelerate enterprise account targeting and conversion.

You’ll be responsible for shaping how Skillsoft supports the full learner lifecycle, from first interaction to career transformation, regardless of where a learner works. This includes building campaigns that position Skillsoft and Codecademy as career growth destinations, elevate learner stories as enterprise proof points, and activate engagement loops that fuel both individual and organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Velocity Growth roadmap with a focus on learner-to-enterprise conversion, career lifecycle engagement, and platform-led growth.
  • Lead lifecycle marketing strategy across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and reactivation, designing journeys that support both individual career growth and enterprise influence.
  • Guide paid media and cross-channel strategy in partnership with internal execution leads, ensuring alignment with learner activation and enterprise pipeline goals.
  • Activate product-led growth loops (referrals, certifications, community) to drive organic velocity and learner advocacy.
  • Develop attribution frameworks that capture both direct learner revenue and enterprise influence, leveraging AI-powered signal intelligence.
  • Operationalize learner engagement signals to inform enterprise account targeting and prioritization in partnership with Sales and Enterprise Growth.
  • Launch and scale “career growth destination” campaigns that position Skillsoft as a lifelong learning partner.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of campaign managers and growth marketers, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and velocity.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product-led growth roles, with experience across B2C and B2B2C segments.
  • Proven success in scaling end-user acquisition and engagement programs that drive enterprise influence.
  • Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing and how individual engagement fuels organizational outcomes.
  • Experience building attribution models and signal-based targeting frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Product, Product Marketing, Sales, and Data Science.
  • Fluency in AI-powered marketing tools, performance analytics, and experimentation platforms.
  • High-agency mindset with a bias for velocity, iteration, and measurable impact.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $195,000 - $210,000 annualized.

We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and paid time off

The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
