Opportunity:

Lead UJET’s Core Infrastructure team and shape the backbone of our cloud-native CCaaS platform. You’ll drive the strategy and execution for GCP orgs, networking, compute, base images, Terraform frameworks, and upgrades.  Building scalable, reliable infrastructure that empowers all engineering teams and impacts millions of users.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the Core Infrastructure team, setting vision, priorities, and execution for foundational cloud services.
  • Own the design, deployment, and operation of shared cloud primitives: GCP orgs & folders, networking, load balancers, compute, base images, Terraform frameworks, and upgrades.
  • Define and enforce best practices for scalability, security, observability, and maintainability across the cloud platform.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe, and reliable development and deployment workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong expertise in GCP, including organization/folder structure, networking, compute, load balancing, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform).
  • Proven track record of designing and operating scalable, reliable cloud systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical understanding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience base image management, and automated upgrades.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-moving technology companies, preferably in SaaS or CCaaS.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Annual US Hiring Range: $170,000 - $190,000

*A candidate’s actual placement within this range will depend on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
