About the Role
Events is a high-leverage brand-building and customer acquisition channel for Genius AI, and it’s growing fast. This role owns our virtual education program, and takes on national trade show programs in high-priority customer verticals: from selection to on-site execution to the results read. You'll be jumping in on channels that are already proven, with real room to shape their evolution. The velocity is high, with shows and webinars running at high frequency, so we're looking for someone who's comfortable balancing multiple projects with excellence and making ambitious things happen. This role interfaces with partners, prospects, and customers alike, meaningfully influencing how our brand shows up in the world.
You will report to the Events Manager. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in an in-person environment. We default to being in-office 3 to 4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What You'll Do
Manage our webinar program end to end, from topic refinement and talent relations through promotion, hosting, and the performance read
Drive national trade show programs in distinct customer verticals, including activation concepts, budget, on-site execution, and the pipeline they are accountable for
Build AI-powered workflows for surface areas like show research, creative briefs, lead routing, and post-event reporting so the channel scales faster than the team does
Partner with Sales to set sellers up to win on the show floor and turn floor conversations into pipeline
Take new event formats from concept to launch, then make the call on what is worth repeating
Surface pacing problems before they become results problems and correcting from what the data shows
What We're Looking For
3+ years running events programs, with end-to-end ownership of a channel's results
Rebuilt your own workflows around AI: you found the repeatable parts of event operations, automated them, and redirected your time toward the judgment calls
Make decisions and move: you set direction with incomplete information, ship, and correct from what you learn
Written and hosted live programming that audiences show up for, with the copy instincts and on-camera presence to carry it yourself
Owned pipeline and revenue numbers for your programs and can speak fluently to the pertinent metrics — MQLs, cost per lead, conversion
Built vendor and production relationships strong enough to support a recurring show calendar
Willing to travel 1-3x per month domestically
