Marsh is seeking candidates for a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A to join our New York City office to support our Marsh US Finance team. This role is base in NYC and will require 3 days in office.
We will count on you to:
- Serve as the primary business partner for U.S. Practices & Specialties, supporting more than $2B in revenue.
- Provide strategic advice and business support to three U.S. Executive Committee members and their direct reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc/special projects across the Marsh U.S. business.
- Deliver financial planning and analysis to support short- and long-term goals and inform business decisions.
- Prepare and present corporate deliverables, including Quarterly Business Reviews and U.S. Executive Committee materials.
- Potentially manage and develop analyst-level colleagues.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve complex issues and provide strategic direction.
- Partner with cross-functional groups (Compliance, Controllership, Operations, HR) to drive efficiency and maximize business impact.
- Prepare reports and presentations that summarize analyses, results, and recommendations for leadership.
- Build and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and develop business cases and investment summaries.
- Enhance financial processes and systems to improve the quality of reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
What you need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an FP&A focused role
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as Power BI and Oracle SmartView
- Proven ability to build complex dynamic financial models
- Self-starter and team player with strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
