Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and modern eCommerce platforms. This role will contribute to the delivery of enterprise digital commerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, designers, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience building scalable front-end applications, strong JavaScript fundamentals, and familiarity with headless commerce architectures. Experience integrating with platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento) and/or Shopware is highly valuable.

This role requires someone capable of developing modern, high-performance user interfaces, understanding front-end architecture best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development standards within the client environment.

The candidate should also be comfortable joining an active project mid-stream, quickly ramping up, and contributing effectively within an established delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and Next.js

  • Build reusable UI components and scalable front-end architecture

  • Integrate front-end applications with commerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce or Shopware

  • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless digital commerce experiences

  • Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high development standards

  • Contribute to technical discussions and front-end architecture decisions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across browsers and devices

  • Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience

  • Strong expertise in React

  • Experience building applications using Next.js

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Experience working with REST APIs

  • Experience integrating with commerce platforms, such as:

    • Adobe Commerce / Magento

    • Shopware

  • Experience working with Git and modern development workflows

  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with headless commerce architectures

  • Familiarity with GraphQL

  • Experience working in enterprise eCommerce environments

  • Experience optimizing performance and improving Core Web Vitals

  • Experience working in Agile development environments
