Job Summary & Mission:
Raymour & Flanigan is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer. As a Senior Designer you will work with the additional Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Design Manger, and Creative team to deliver exciting experiences that pushes the brand forward and drives business. You must possess a strong knowledge and passion of graphic design, demonstrate strong typography and layout skills with a can-do mentality, as well as be willing to learn new programs and processes.
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Raymour & Flanigan, you will play a key leadership role within the creative team and help shape the visual direction of our brand across both digital and in-store channels. You will take ownership of high-impact design projects from concept to execution, ensuring that every deliverable aligns with business goals, supports the customer journey, and reflects a high standard of creative excellence.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate marketing strategies into visually compelling assets while bringing clarity, consistency, and strategic insight to the creative process. Your advanced skills in Figma, visual hierarchy, and multi-channel design will be essential in delivering cohesive work that performs across platforms.
This role is ideal for a senior designer who stays organized in a dynamic creative environment, leads with a solutions-focused mindset, and is ready to make a strong impact across both brand expression and customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Design marketing materials across print and digital channels, including promotional signage, web banners, emails, social content, and in-store visuals that drive traffic and sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Use Figma as your primary tool for digital workflows, team collaboration, and scalable design systems (strong proficiency required)
- Maintain consistency with established brand standards while evolving the design system as needed
- Create Animation for social media posts and digital platforms, including creating engaging motion graphics, GIFs, and short video content optimized for online audiences, proficiency here is a plus
- Use Indesign / illustrator to prepare print-ready files with accuracy and a strong understanding of production needs
- Ensure all materials are visually cohesive and support a seamless customer experience from store to screen
- Monitor feedback and performance metrics to recommend and prioritize iterative design improvements
- Participate in and lead creative reviews, team meetings, and planning discussions to align on goals, priorities, and overall creative direction
- Partner with Project Management to ensure deadlines, timelines, and approval processes are met throughout all phases of assigned work. Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently, while proactively flagging any potential capacity issues or timeline concerns.
- Occasional design support for store signage, window graphics, or fixture branding, as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in retail, home, or lifestyle brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing elevated, strategic design work across both digital and physical touchpoints
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, with additional expertise in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand storytelling
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with quick turnarounds and evolving priorities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience designing for physical retail environments (e.g., signage, window graphics, fixture branding)
- Interest in home design, trends, and product presentation
