The Networking Application Engineering team at NVIDIA is looking for a motivated, experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join us in supporting groundbreaking network technologies. In this role, you will have a significant impact on both our business and the technology ecosystem, working closely with customers and R&D teams to shape the future of supercomputing and networking.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the integration of our latest Network Interface Cards (NICs) with major cloud providers.

  • Assist with the deployment of new supercomputer technologies and data centers.

  • Build and maintain customer trust by understanding and addressing their needs.

  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop and refine features based on customer requirements.

  • Lead efforts to resolve complex and high-profile customer issues.

  • Provide constructive feedback to engineering and marketing teams regarding product requirements.

What we need to see:

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development, including high-speed (10 GHz and higher) multilayer PCBs and SI.

  • Strong networking experience, particularly with NICs and familiarity with Ethernet protocols.

  • Knowledge of server topology, PCIe protocol, BMC interfaces, and security aspects.

  • Proven problem-solving skills.

  • High proficiency in English communication and presentation.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead projects.

  • Familiarity with PCIe Gen 4.0 and Gen 5.0 protocols.

  • Experience with physical layer of network ports and PCIe ports, including SerDes tuning.

  • Experience in script or firmware development.
