Overview:
SS&C is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to join the Alternatives (Alts) Implementations team responsible for onboarding the Eze OMS. We are looking for an organized individual that can coordinate with a variety of internal/external stakeholders, communicate with project managers, and consult on solutions to best fit clients’ business use cases.  If you enjoy working with financial technology and being a knowledgeable product expert in a collaborative team-based environment, we want to hear from you!
Implementation Consultants play an essential role in nearly every phase of SS&C’s implementation project, from post-sales project design to client requirement delivery. Collaboration is an important part of the role, to ensure that the onboarding requirements are understood by internal/external stakeholders and implemented to plan, ultimately driving client satisfaction through effective project execution. In addition, Implementation Consultants are responsible for creating effective, scalable, and supportable configurations through testing and analysis of different workflows based off initial requirement gathering. We expect the individual to help develop and apply best practices with an eye on constantly improving the team’s effectiveness.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Partner with Sales and Implementation Architects to understand client workflows and define Order Management requirements
• Own the configuration and testing of front-office solutions, with a focus on core Order Management, Trading and related integrations
• Manage functional delivery across multiple concurrent client implementations
• Collaborate with team members across all aspects of implementations, from documenting business requirements to defining system configurations and integration requirements, while providing backup coverage as needed
• Configure client workflows based on approved functional requirements and implementation best practices
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, track readiness, and resolve issues affecting delivery
• Lead OMS training for Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations teams, and other user groups
• Coordinate with clients, third parties, Project Managers, and specialist teams, including FIX, API, and Compliance
• Communicate functional status, risks, dependencies, and required decisions to relevant stakeholders
• Support onsite and remote go-live events, triage post-launch issues, and prepare clients for transition to ongoing support
• Document client configurations, workflows, and customizations to support effective knowledge transfer
• Use AI and automation tools responsibly to reduce manual effort, improve implementation workflows, and accelerate delivery
• Build alternatives industry expertise through engagement with hedge funds, asset managers, and ETF providers

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of professional experience in either a financial services or technology onboarding role preferred
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills; must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must have analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills to set internal and external expectations
• Usage of AI tools for process automation and productivity enhancement
• Working knowledge of relational databases, Windows server environments and experience learning new technical tools.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 120000 USD to 160000 USD.

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
