Who you areMetropolis is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join our growing Finance and Internal Audit organization. As we scale our AI-driven platform across thousands of locations, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our technology stack is paramount. You will be a key player in building out our internal audit function, focusing on the systems that power our computer vision, payment processing, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead risk-based audits across our technology ecosystem, including cybersecurity, cloud operations (AWS), DevOps, and data privacy
- Support our SOX 404 efforts by evaluating IT General Controls (ITGCs) and automated application controls with a focus on automation and real-time monitoring
- Work closely with our Revenue Platform and Product teams to ensure "compliance by design" as we launch new verticals and payment features
- Leverage data analytics and AI tools to streamline audit testing, moving away from manual samples toward continuous assurance
- Clearly communicate audit findings and partner with stakeholders to track remediation and process improvements
- 4+ years of IT Audit or Tech Risk experience
- Deep familiarity with AWS/Cloud security, SQL, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and automated CI/CD pipelines
- A passion for AI and the "real world" technology Metropolis is building
- Deep understanding of how data flows through complex AWS environments and automated payment gateways
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to design audit programs from the ground up for a high-growth tech environment
- Ability to translate complex technical risks into clear narratives for executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in both large-scale global consultancies and fast-paced startup settings
- CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA designation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $130,000.00 USD to $140,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more. #LI-WT1 #LI-Onsite
