About Savvy Wealth:

Wealth management is a $545 billion industry that still runs on manual work. 75% of advisors offer no digital communication beyond email, and most still build financial plans by hand in Excel. Savvy is reinventing what it looks like to be a financial advisor. Founder Ritik Malhotra saw the fragmentation firsthand after seeking out his own advisor, and started Savvy to give independent advisors a modern, AI-native home.

Savvy is a registered investment advisor (RIA), and we partner with experienced financial advisors who want to grow without running the back office themselves. Advisors bring their book and join Savvy, running under their own brand (or ours), and Savvy earns a percentage of the assets they manage. In return, they get a true business-in-a-box: a proprietary tech platform and client portal, an in-house marketing team that helps them grow, a world-class investment management team, and a dedicated client services team that runs day-to-day operations and support. Advisors at Savvy service up to 50% more households and save 19 hours a week.

AI runs through everything we do. On the product side, Savvy Intelligence (released April 2026) is the only AI built for wealth managers that can see a client's complete financial picture. Internally, everyone at Savvy uses Claude and is encouraged to experiment with it, backed by a dedicated AI enablement team and a RevOps org building agents in-house.

We're a Series B company hitting our stride, with roughly 150 employees and over 500% year-over-year growth, backed by $105M from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, and Mark Casady (former CEO of LPL Financial). Come help us scale!

The Role

We are seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist to join Savvy Wealth at our NYC headquarters. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service to both our internal teams and our financial advisors while supporting a hybrid macOS and Windows environment. You'll manage and optimize SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Rippling, and more.

We are a small, senior team, and everyone contributes across every area of IT: employee support, advisor support, identity and access, endpoints, SaaS administration, and infrastructure. One area worth calling out is advisor work. At Savvy, advisors are our clients, and you'll share that workload with the rest of the team, including regular face-to-face and video interaction. A recurring piece of it is migrating advisors into Savvy: moving their email and files into Google Workspace and managing the DNS changes that come with it (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and record cutovers across providers like Cloudflare, GoDaddy, and Google Cloud DNS). We do this on a weekly basis, so strong DNS fundamentals and client-facing polish matter here.

Our IT mission is to keep our employees and advisors productive by removing technical roadblocks quickly and efficiently. We're looking for someone resourceful who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Support a hybrid macOS/Windows environment, including ticketing and troubleshooting

  • Share advisor support and onboarding workload with the rest of the IT team, delivering white-glove service in person, over video, and through our support channels, working within documented SLAs

  • Execute advisor migrations into Savvy: email and file migrations into Google Workspace, DNS record management and cutovers (including SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and phased transition planning that minimizes disruption

  • Manage DNS across multiple providers and registrars (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Google Cloud DNS), including email authentication records for marketing and compliance tooling

  • Own the IT provisioning and deprovisioning process for employees and advisors: account creation, platform setup, endpoint allocation and MDM enrollment, and access management, with same-day deprovisioning as the standard

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Advisor Onboarding Team, People Ops, etc.) to ensure seamless employee and advisor experiences; clearly articulate issues, potential solutions, and timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Maintain and support office networking, AV systems, and physical security infrastructure (badge readers and cameras)

  • Develop, document, and improve scalable IT processes, runbooks, and user-facing resources in Notion

  • Contribute to automation of the employee and advisor lifecycle (SCIM provisioning via Rippling, group-based access) and to our SaaS governance work (app inventory, admin hygiene, access reviews)

  • Support SaaS vendor relationships and coordinate with external vendors for IT equipment procurement, service agreements, and renewals

  • Take ownership of small and large projects, and act as an escalation point for technical issues before escalating to leadership or other teams

Must Have
  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience with user onboarding/offboarding and device management

  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace administration and MDM solutions

  • Solid DNS fundamentals: record types (MX, TXT, CNAME, A), email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), registrar and DNS host management, and the confidence to plan and execute record changes without breaking mail flow

  • Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working face-to-face with clients, handling high-touch relationships, and staying composed when the stakes are personal for the person in front of you

  • Excellent communication skills: able to clearly articulate issues, potential solutions, and timelines to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven track record of building and documenting IT processes and procedures

  • Understanding of security best practices, access controls, and least-privilege access design

  • Strong writing skills; Savvy is a written culture

  • Track record of leveraging AI to scale the IT function across areas like help desk support, documentation, and SaaS management

Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience migrating email and files into Google Workspace (from Microsoft 365, IMAP, or other platforms), including cutover planning and post-migration validation

  • Proficiency in managing DNS records as code with Terraform (we manage our primary domain this way via GitHub)

  • Financial services or RIA industry experience, particularly with compliance tools

  • Experience supporting business transitions and acquisitions from an IT perspective

  • Project management experience and vendor relationship management

  • Familiarity with SCIM provisioning and identity lifecycle automation (Rippling or similar)
