About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Banking Syndication Consultant. In this job, you will be responsible for helping expand WFEF's lease and loan syndication platform, with accountability for execution, investor relationships, market strategy, and syndication P&L contribution. The role serves as a senior market-facing consultant partnering closely with originations, credit, legal, and servicing to structure, distribute, and manage large and complex equipment finance transactions.
This role owns both sell-side syndication (agented transactions, assignments, participations, portfolio sales) and select direct sales initiatives, acting as the "voice of the market" for pricing, structure, liquidity, and execution certainty.

In this role, you will:
- Lead relationship management responsibility for major clients
- Be responsible for origination and structuring of loan syndications
- Develop new product ideas to maintain customer relationships
- Manage negotiations and structuring commitments with existing customers
- Expand and maintain important client relationships
- Assist management in policy making
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to implement innovative and significant business solutions
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- 7+ years of Client Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience originating and structuring syndicated credit facilities for commercial banking or equipment finance clients
- Strong understanding of commercial credit, capital structures, current secondary market sentiment, and risk management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and lead transaction negotiation
- Experience collaborating with internal and external partners including Credit, Legal, Risk, and Institutions in the secondary market
- Strong analytical, communication, and judgment skills in a regulated financial services environment
- Ability to travel 20% or more.
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule, current requirements are 4 days in-office.
