Senior Lead Data Engineer

Job requirements

    Analyze business and technical requirements to design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Analytical Data Store (ADS) using the Snowflake cloud platform.

    Develop, implement, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services to support enterprise analytics and reporting.

    Design and implement scalable data models and data architectures to enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and integration across business domains, including warehouse operations, transportation, finance, and labor management.

    Perform data validation, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure data integrity, reliability, and optimal system performance.

    Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and technical teams to translate analytical and operational requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.

    Participate in project planning, design reviews, and implementation activities to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.

    Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field plus two (2) years of IT experience.

    Two (2) years of IT experience must include experience in Snowflake, SQL or Tableau.

    In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience.

    Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive experience must include experience with Snowflake, SQL or Tableau. We will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

    All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation may be required. Standard Corporate Benefits.
