Who We Are

Arcadia is the AI-powered energy intelligence platform for businesses. We replace fragmented tools and manual workflows with one platform to pay utility bills, buy energy, and advance sustainability — across every location, at enterprise scale.

Trusted by Fortune 2000 companies, Arcadia combines unified data, AI-powered analytics, and expert advisory to help enterprise teams save money, mitigate risk, and cut carbon.

We deliver this through three comprehensive solutions:

  • Utility Bill Management: Automating the entire utility bill lifecycle — from data capture and validation to payment processing and auditing.
  • Energy Procurement Advisory: Bringing together comprehensive data, AI-powered analytics, market expertise, and a strong partner network to make sophisticated procurement options accessible to all. .
  • Sustainability Reporting — Verified emissions data with seamless integration into leading sustainability platforms.

Tackling the world's most complex energy challenges requires diverse thinking. We're building teams of people from different backgrounds, industries, and disciplines — united by a belief that energy management should be simple, intelligent, and a genuine driver of business value.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking an analytical, self-directed Senior Manager, Business Operations to join the Customer Success & Operations team. This is an internal consulting role: you'll be deployed onto our highest-priority operational problem sets, diagnose what's actually happening, build the case for change, and drive the change through to a result. Assignments rotate — you might spend one quarter on cost-to-serve and capacity models for a global service operation, and the next on the operating model for a newly integrated business.

The ideal candidate is a finance- or consulting-trained generalist who is happiest with an ambiguous problem and a blank page. You are grounded in data, you write and present like an executive, and you take ownership of outcomes rather than handing off recommendations. You are also a skilled user of AI and automation — both to move faster in your own work and to redesign how the business operates. You do your own analysis and build your own decks — this is a hands-on IC role with senior exposure, not a management role.

Arcadia is open to fully remote candidates and employees have access to co-working spaces.

#LI-REMOTE

What You'll Do
  • Own two to three transformation projects at a time across Customer Success & Operations — scoping the problem, running the analysis, and landing the change with the teams who have to live with it.
  • Build the quantitative case: cost-to-serve, unit economics, capacity and staffing models, process baselines, and business cases for investment or automation.
  • Turn analysis into executive-ready materials — crisp narratives, recommendations, and decision documents for the SVP, the CEO, and the leadership team.
  • Build and run the project plan: milestones, owners, dependencies, and a reporting cadence that keeps work moving without a PMO behind you.
  • Identify where AI and automation can take work out of the process entirely — not just make the existing process faster — and partner with Product and Technology to build the case, pilot it, and scale what works.
  • Partner across Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology to get to a single set of facts and a decision, including where teams disagree.
  • Leave the business better than you found it — documented processes, metrics, and operating rhythms the team can sustain after you rotate off.
  • Move between assignments as priorities shift, ramping quickly on unfamiliar parts of the business.
What will help you succeed

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance/development, private equity, or a business operations or strategy role at a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to own an ambiguous problem end to end and produce a defensible, data-backed recommendation.
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills; fluent in Excel and comfortable working directly with large, imperfect data sets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can compress a complex analysis into a one-page recommendation an executive can act on.
  • Fluent, practical use of AI tools in daily work — analysis, research, drafting, prototyping — and judgment about where they help and where they don't.
  • Track record of driving cross-functional projects to completion through influence rather than authority.
  • Results orientation and comfort with a fast-paced environment where priorities change and the answer isn't in a playbook.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in energy, utilities, or another data-intensive B2B services business.
  • Post-acquisition integration or operating model design experience.
  • Exposure to service delivery, shared services, or BPO operations.
  • Hands-on experience delivering automation or AI-enabled workflows in an operational setting — document extraction, workflow orchestration, agentic tooling, or similar.
  • SQL, Python, or BI tooling (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for self-service analysis.
  • Process improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
  • Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • "Remote first" culture - work anywhere in the continental US as long as you have a reliable internet connection
  • Flexible PTO - no accrued hours and no limit on the number of vacation days exempt employees can take each year
  • 11 annual holidays
  • 10 days sick leave
  • Up to 2 weeks bereavement leave
  • 2 volunteer days off
  • 2 professional development days off
  • Parental Leave Benefits for ALL parents
  • 75-95% employer cost coverage for medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and dependents
