We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.

As a Senior Manager of Category Marketing within CVS Media Exchange (CMX), you'll lead the development and execution of category growth strategies that connect supplier objectives with CVS business priorities. Working cross-functionally across Merchandising, Marketing, Analytics and Sales, you'll identify consumer, category, and industry insights that shape scalable marketing opportunities, drive supplier investment, and deliver measurable value for both advertisers and CVS. Your work will influence how brands engage with CVS customers across key consumer moments, category initiatives, and enterprise priorities.

Reporting to the Director of Core and Category Marketing, you'll play a critical role in defining category strategy, informing go-to-market planning, and advancing CMX's position as a strategic growth partner for suppliers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Lead Strategic Category Partnerships Across the Enterprise
Serve as the primary CMX category lead for key internal stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships across Merchandising, Marketing, Loyalty, Personalization, Analytics, and other enterprise teams. Leverage a deep understanding of CVS business priorities, customer needs, and category dynamics to identify growth opportunities, influence decision-making, and ensure alignment between advertiser investments and enterprise objectives.

2. Develop Category Growth Strategies that Drive Mutual Value
Partner closely with Sales, Partner Management, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and advance strategic opportunities that support both supplier and CVS goals. Translate category, consumer, and market insights into integrated programs, tentpole strategies, and commercialization opportunities that drive incremental revenue, strengthen supplier relationships, and accelerate category growth.

3. Shape Category Narratives and Thought Leadership
Act as a category expert and advocate within CMX by developing compelling category stories, consumer insights, and strategic points of view that inform annual planning, sales engagements, and innovation roadmaps. Champion programs that position CMX as a strategic partner to suppliers while creating meaningful connections between brands and CVS customers during key consumer moments.

4. Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Organizational Influence
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, bringing together diverse stakeholders to align on objectives, priorities, and success metrics. Establish best practices, facilitate knowledge sharing, and create scalable ways of working that enhance collaboration, improve efficiency, and elevate the advertiser and stakeholder experience across the organization.

5. Accelerate Innovation and Build New Growth Opportunities
Evaluate emerging business opportunities, category trends, and evolving market dynamics to identify areas for expansion and innovation within CMX. Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and commercialization frameworks that support new products, operating models, and integrated solutions. Navigate cross-functional considerations including operational readiness, legal review, measurement strategy, and change management to bring new opportunities to market successfully.

Your continued knowledge of the digital and physical retail media marketplace coupled with talent in data-driven strategy will be valuable as you create sales stories and multi-supplier campaign initiatives that drive sales. Our CMX counterparts will rely on you to identify and understand category and brand business trends as you develop programs and collateral that are lucrative to our clients. We're looking for people that are passionate about building a business and comfortable with remaining agile in a changing landscape.

Your expertise in retail media, consumer behavior, category dynamics, and the evolving omnichannel landscape will be instrumental in identifying growth opportunities for both suppliers and CVS Health. Leveraging data, insights, and industry trends, you'll develop compelling category narratives, commercialization strategies, and scalable programs that influence investment decisions and drive measurable business outcomes. As a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, you'll help shape the future of CMX by translating market opportunities into innovative solutions that create value for advertisers, customers, and the enterprise. If you're energized by building new capabilities, influencing strategy, and driving growth in a fast-paced environment, CMX offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact as we continue to scale and evolve.
