JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is hybrid on-site (3) days a week based out of our Northbrook or Chicago office
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Information Systems, to lead and transform our global financial information systems using Oracle's Cloud EPM Platform. This role is critical to enabling scalable, SOX-compliant financial reporting and accelerating the company's transformation to a modern, integrated finance technology ecosystem.
The Senior Manager is a key position and requires a motivated leader with the ability to embrace change and drive technology-driven transformation of the company's financial systems. The Senior Manager will partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders within the organization to accomplish shared objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as owner and subject matter expert of the financial information systems, including Oracle Cloud EPM Platform and Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Lead the design and delivery of changes to the financial information systems to meet internal and external financial reporting requirements, partnering with IT and external resources on technical implementation, as needed.
  • Oversee data inflow and outflow of financial data from ERP/planning/allocation systems.
  • Provide critical support to the financial close process as it relates to the financial information systems.
  • Maintain and monitor system security, business process configurations, role assignments, and user access to ensure integrity of financial data and SOX compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate allocation of Corporate support costs, including business rules and drivers.
  • Provide assistance to external auditors as needed throughout the year.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working with financial information systems at a multinational, global company is required.
  • Experience with the implementation, development/enhancement and maintenance of large ERP platforms and accounting systems is required.
  • Experience managing Oracle tools is preferred.
  • Proven track record of transitioning ERP systems to the cloud is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, data governance, and best practices for maintaining a single source of truth.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to deployment, balancing timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language and present recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to drive transformation and bring data-driven recommendations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the finance organization, including adoption of applicable AI capabilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and maintain progress in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), Holidays (9 days), Personal days (3 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
