Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly strategic and technically fluent Senior Manager of Property Marketing Technology to lead the execution and ongoing evolution of our global marketing technology ecosystem. The role combines product ownership, marketing technology architecture, data and measurement, operational governance, and hands-on delivery.

Operating as both a strategic partner and technical leader, this individual will be a systems-thinker, owning the implementation of core platforms and frameworks across websites, CRM platforms, analytics, attribution, SEO/AEO, privacy, and the integration of AI-driven capabilities across the digital experience. The role requires translating architectural vision into actionable solutions, ensuring consistent execution, performance, and compliance across regions, asset classes, and operating models.

Property Marketing Technology Product Management:

  • Set the roadmap, priorities, requirements, release process, and adoption plan for the global property marketing technology ecosystem

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the property website platform, including CMS, hosting, templates per asset type, integrations, accessibility, performance, SEO, content governance, and ongoing optimization

  • Govern website launches, migrations, acquisitions, separations, dispositions, rebrands, and platform transitions across multiple ownership structures and operating models

  • Turn regional and business needs into a prioritized backlog that balances customer experience, commercial value, risk, cost, speed, and platform reuse

  • Establish clear ownership, service expectations, documentation, and escalation paths across Hines teams, agencies, vendors, and technology partners

Data, Analytics and Attribution Strategy:

  • Design and oversee the implementation of tagging architecture, analytics frameworks, and data validation processes that connect digital activity to business outcomes

  • Ensure data integrity and alignment with business KPIs to support decision-making and performance optimization of website and technology ecosystems

  • Help develop executive and operating dashboards that make performance visible without compromising privacy, security, data minimization, or appropriate access controls

Property Marketing Digital Architecture Development:

  • Evaluate marketing technology choices and integration patterns across websites, CMS platforms, analytics, CRM and PMS environments, lead-management tools, marketing platforms, data connectors, dashboards, and emerging AI capabilities

  • Translate business requirements into solution options, technical requirements, implementation plans, and decisions that can work across regions and asset classes

  • Partner with Real Estate IT and enterprise technology teams on architecture, security, identity, APIs, hosting, data flows, environments, and support models

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve speed and consistency, and create reusable capabilities through automation and AI

Privacy Governance & Compliance Leadership:

  • Translate privacy and regulatory requirements into implementable standards for consent management, customer tracking governance, analytics configuration, data retention, privacy notices, and vendor responsibilities within the property marketing function

  • Build repeatable controls that can operate across jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, in partnership with Legal, Privacy, IT, and regional operations teams

  • Embed accessibility and inclusive experience requirements into website product development, quality assurance, vendor delivery, and ongoing governance, including WCAG and applicable U.S. accessibility expectations

  • Ensure marketing technology decisions support fair housing and anti-discrimination obligations in the United States and responsible, inclusive marketing practices globally

  • Create practical playbooks and review checkpoints that help teams move quickly while meeting Hines standards for compliance, security, accessibility, ethical data use, and ensuring property brand integrity

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science or Technology from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, digital product management, digital platforms, solutions architecture, analytics implementation, or a closely related field
  • Proven experience owning and scaling digital platforms or ecosystems (not just managing components)
  • Experience operating in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and regions
  • Strong working knowledge of websites and CMS platforms, front-end concepts, analytics and tag-management infrastructure, APIs or integrations, and data flows
  • Advanced experience designing and implementing scalable tracking, tagging, and attribution frameworks across multiple digital properties
  • Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio), including implementation, validation, and governance
  • Expertise in decentralized marketing technology ecosystems, including PMS/CRM platforms and system integrations across global environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity, attribution accuracy, and performance optimization
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, decentralized, or multi-site organization where influence and clarity matter as much as formal authority
  • Experience holding vendors and partners accountable to technical standards, timelines, and performance outcomes

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

  • Unwavering commitment to integrity, ethical data use, and alignment with the firm’s Guiding and Leadership Principles
