OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform is a new, forward-looking initiative within Tubi Media Group that brings FOX’s unparalleled content portfolio—news, sports, and entertainment—directly to consumers via an innovative subscription streaming service.

Driven by a highly experienced leadership team with extensive backgrounds at the intersections of media, technology, streaming, and content—and built with the full support of Fox Corporation—this venture combines entrepreneurial energy with deep media expertise.

Our vision is to create a unified, modern viewing experience that puts the consumer first—seamlessly integrating live and on-demand content across platforms.

At the intersection of cutting-edge technology and trusted storytelling, this is an opportunity to shape the future of streaming at one of the most pivotal moments in media. We’re assembling a world-class team to deliver on that vision—and we’re just getting started.

ABOUT THE ROLE

FOX One is redefining how audiences experience sports, news, and entertainment in one premium streaming destination. As the Senior Manager, Social Media Marketing, you will lead the organic social strategy for FOX One, shaping how the brand shows up across major social platforms and within culture.

You will own the development and execution of social-first campaigns that build brand affinity, grow audiences, deepen engagement, and support subscriber acquisition and retention. Working across sports, breaking news, entertainment, and major cultural moments, you will establish a distinctive and premium social presence that is timely, relevant, and authentic to FOX One.

This role requires a strategic and highly creative social marketer who can translate broader brand and business priorities into platform-native ideas, lead real-time storytelling, and use performance insights to continually improve content and channel strategy. You will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Editorial, Communications, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional teams while helping guide internal and external creative resources.

Because many of FOX One’s most important moments occur outside traditional business hours, this role requires flexibility to support evenings and weekends during live programming, breaking news, launches, and marquee events.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and lead the organic social strategy for FOX One across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific social strategies that support brand priorities, tentpole events, subscriber marketing initiatives, programming launches, and audience growth objectives.
  • Establish the channel vision, content pillars, platform roles, audience strategies, and publishing approach for FOX One’s always-on social presence.
  • Lead the development of integrated social campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring ideas are platform-native, culturally relevant, and aligned with FOX One’s premium brand identity.
  • Oversee social content calendars, publishing schedules, asset workflows, and real-time coverage plans across multiple programming and marketing priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Creative, Editorial, Communications, Product Marketing, Media, and Programming teams to ensure social strategy supports broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Brief, guide, and provide feedback to internal creative teams, agencies, freelancers, and other partners developing social-first content.
  • Lead the creation and optimization of platform-native content, including short-form video, graphics, static assets, GIFs, memes, live-event content, and trend-driven creative.
  • Adapt integrated marketing campaigns into distinctive social-first experiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice and premium visual identity.
  • Develop and uphold FOX One’s social voice, editorial standards, community engagement approach, and platform-specific copywriting practices.
  • Identify real-time opportunities around live sports, breaking news, entertainment launches, cultural conversations, audience sentiment, and emerging trends.
  • Lead social coverage during major sporting events, breaking news, entertainment premieres, and other marquee moments, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Build strategies for audience engagement and community growth while fostering an authentic, responsive, and premium brand presence.
  • Develop and oversee creator and influencer marketing initiatives, including partner identification, creative concepts, briefing, campaign execution, and performance evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities for creator partnerships, social activations, collaborations, and original content franchises that expand the FOX One brand and drive engagement.
  • Define social performance goals and key performance indicators in partnership with marketing and analytics teams.
  • Monitor channel performance, audience growth, engagement, sentiment, and content effectiveness, translating data into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead recurring reporting and communicate performance insights, strategic recommendations, and emerging opportunities to cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Evaluate platform changes, algorithms, creator trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to strengthen FOX One’s social strategy and content performance.
  • Help manage agency and vendor relationships, project timelines, budgets, and deliverables as needed.
  • Mentor and provide strategic direction to coordinators, contractors, agency partners, and other team members supporting social execution.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Typically, 8+ years professional experience leading organic social media strategy for a consumer brand, publisher, sports league, entertainment company, media organization, streaming service, or agency.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing social strategies that drive measurable audience growth, engagement, brand affinity, and business results.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social platforms, including platform-specific audiences, content formats, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong experience leading integrated and social-first campaigns across sports, news, entertainment, live events, or other fast-moving content environments.
  • Excellent creative judgment with the ability to evaluate concepts, visual assets, short-form video, copy, and platform-native storytelling.
  • Exceptional copywriting, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex marketing priorities into clear and compelling social content.
  • Experience using performance data, audience insights, social listening, and cultural trends to inform strategy and optimize content.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead real-time editorial and marketing decisions with sound judgment, accuracy, speed, and sensitivity to brand reputation.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience partnering with Brand Marketing, Creative, Editorial, Communications, Product Marketing, Analytics, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of sports, news, entertainment, streaming, internet culture, and the broader social media landscape.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in support of live programming, breaking news, launches, and marquee events.
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of three days per week is an essential function of this position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.
