We are seeking a Senior Manager to support pricing strategy, profitability analysis and financial reporting for the Tax practice. This role partners with Tax Finance and practice leaders to turn financial data into clear recommendations, strengthen reporting and improve business performance.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Lead bill rate planning, pricing models and fee analysis for the Tax practice.
  • Analyze realization, margins and profitability across clients, engagements, niches and offices.
  • Support major proposals, renewals and pricing decisions with financial analysis.
  • Maintain KPI definitions and improve dashboards and leadership reporting.
  • Partner with FP&A, IT and reporting teams to strengthen data quality and reporting processes.
  • Prepare forecasts and identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Advise practice leaders on pricing, realization and business performance.
  • Lead special projects focused on pricing, client economics and finance process improvement.
  • Manage and develop the Analyst, Tax Finance, including setting priorities and reviewing work.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, financial analysis, pricing or profitability analytics.
  • Experience with analysis of key metrics, an understanding of professional-services-based rates and pricing models, and reviewing recurring financial reporting.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in professional services or another time-and-billing environment.
  • Prior experience supervising or developing analysts.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems, BI tools or SQL.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA or comparable credential; experience with finance automation or transformation is a plus.
