As a Senior Manager in International Tax Services, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive international tax services, advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations. You will work closely with Directors and Partners to coordinate U.S. and foreign tax laws and help develop effective worldwide tax strategies for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review international tax compliance engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.

  • Research and advise on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, including the application of tax treaties, offshore investment activities, and repatriation planning.

  • Assist clients in minimizing U.S. and foreign income taxes by helping optimize worldwide tax burdens related to business transactions and operations.

  • Monitor international tax developments and communicate relevant changes and implications to clients and internal teams.

  • Support and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact on engagements and identifying opportunities to expand services.

  • Collaborate with Partners, Directors, and other team members to deliver high-quality client service and support practice growth initiatives.

  • Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff and managers; provide performance feedback for engagement evaluations and annual reviews.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure timely delivery of services, and address issues proactively.

  • Consult with clients on business and process improvements, contributing to their success as a trusted advisor.

  • Participate in internal training and professional development programs to stay current on tax regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years of progressive tax consulting experience, with a focus on international taxation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.

  • Master’s in Taxation, LL.M. in Taxation, or JD preferred.

  • Experience with a large public accounting firm or large law firm.

  • Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound international taxation.

  • Experience with international estate and gift tax planning.

  • Familiarity with foreign trust matters, including foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts.

  • Strong analytical, technical, and tax compliance skills, including proficiency in U.S. GAAP and tax technology tools.

  • Experience with inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multinational corporations, transfer pricing concepts, and foreign tax credits is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and supervise staff.
