Education and Experience:

  • 2-4 years experience with paid social campaign management, agency or brand setting preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university; a focus in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications is a plus but not required


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Media Strategy, Plan Development & Innovation

  • Lead the research, planning, and client-facing presentation of platform-agnostic social strategies, including independent performance projections and roadmap development.
  • Partner with account management and media leads to ensure social strategy aligns with holistic media plans and supports client offline business goals.
  • Drive agency-wide innovation by identifying partner betas, authoring strategic POVs, and training the broader team on emerging platform trends.
  • Develop and execute superior testing plans for audiences, creative, and bidding strategies, translating results into actionable client recommendations.

Technical Expertise, Campaign Management & Media Plan Execution

  • Oversee the full campaign lifecycle—from setup and trafficking to optimization—utilizing QA checklists to ensure 100% accuracy and client brand safety.
  • Drive superior performance by optimizing against complex KPIs using a mix of platform tools, third-party analytics, and social listening data.
  • Leverage advanced research tools to build data-backed recommendations and stay ahead of the competitive landscape.

Reporting and Measurement

  • Serve as the final authority on reporting quality, transforming complex platform data and algorithms into accessible "real-world impact" narratives for clients.
  • Coordinate with cross-channel teams (Search, Programmatic) to identify integrated media insights and demonstrate social’s influence on the broader mix.
  • Lead client reporting presentations, fluently interpreting data and providing technical clarity on campaign delivery and aesthetics.

Team Management and Mentorship

  • Manage the professional development of multiple direct reports, adapting leadership styles to individual needs and ensuring a path toward next-level performance.
  • Oversee outcome-based onboarding and comprehensive workflow training for junior staff, covering planning, trafficking, pacing, and accounting.
  • Maintain ultimate accountability for the team’s output, conducting regular QA and progress meetings to ensure 100% accuracy and operational excellence.
