NVIDIA's Product Security team is responsible for building secure cloud deployments at scale, and providing security tooling services for the entire Nvidia organization. We're looking for a Platform Engineer that will play a pivotal role in orchestrating our cloud infrastructure and enabling a seamless integration and deployment pipeline.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes management at an enterprise scale. Their expertise will drive the development of innovative cloud deployment solutions, security tooling, and impactful enhancements to developer experience.
What you’ll be doing:
Spearhead automation engineering initiatives to streamline and optimize deployment workflows.
Manage, configure, deploy, and provision Kubernetes clusters at scale.
Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a robust, automated, and efficient delivery process.
Develop and implement security tooling to safeguard our cloud infrastructure and applications against threats.
Architect solutions to improve the developer experience and streamline application delivery through GitOps
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and scripts to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
Decouple applications from infrastructure and abstract configuration to simplify microservice development
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across all major cloud service providers
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on cloud engineering and Kubernetes operations at scale.
Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Shell scripting).
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and methodologies with 5+ years working with tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Secrets management tools such as Hashicorp Vault, AWS SSM, etc
Familiarity with major cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
Strong understanding of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and CI/CD principles.
Demonstrable experience with GitOps methodologies and poll based configuration and deployment patterns
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and think creatively.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3, and 176,000 USD - 276,000 USD for Level 4.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
