What You'll Do
- Take operational responsibility for services, participating in an on-call rotation to ensure customer SLAs are routinely met.
- Build and operate infrastructure on GCP and AWS, with a focus on network connectivity, security, and observability.
- Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and deliver on compliance, ensuring platform security and trustworthiness.
- Promote and implement SRE methodologies to enable smooth deployments, monitoring, and short feedback loops for incident resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, sales, marketing, and customer success.
- Shape technical strategy and deliver impactful, high-visibility projects that transform the developer experience.
Who You Are
- You have demonstrable experience with SaaS infrastructure, GCP, Distributed Systems, TypeScript, and Node. (React experience is a plus!)
- You love to work with scale and thrive in distributed systems, designing pragmatic solutions.
- You're passionate about engineering and follow sound practices like continuous delivery and automated testing.
- You're a mentor and collaborator with excellent communication skills who inspires teams and guides others.
- You're always improving and open to feedback, refining processes, and pushing boundaries.
- You're an open-source advocate and have contributed to or been involved in open-source communities.
Where You'll Be
- For this role, you can be within the EST time zone with a preference to be in New York.
- Working hours? We operate within the EST zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $156 275-223 350, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
