This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, customer experience, and business outcomes — and who brings a strong point of view backed by data.
- Own and evolve the payments platform roadmap, aligning priorities with company goals, customer needs, and market opportunities
- Partner closely with engineering, payments services, and cross-functional teams to deliver a reliable, scalable, and high-performing platform
- Drive platform adoption and growth by aligning capabilities with real customer and business needs
- Ensure the platform supports a wide range of payment methods, workflows, and integrations across our products
- Lead product decisions around compliance, fraud prevention, and security, including standards like PCI DSS
- Translate customer insights, market trends, and partner input into clear product requirements and prioritized initiatives
- Guide product delivery through thoughtful trade-offs, clear priorities, and strong execution in an agile environment
- Act as a trusted expert and advocate for the payments platform, helping internal teams and external partners understand its value and capabilities
- Support successful product launches by ensuring stakeholders are aligned, prepared, and set up for strong go-to-market execution
What you bring:
- Experience leading platform products or shared services used across multiple teams or customer groups
- Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including card-present and card-not-present transactions, ACH, recurring billing, and EMV technologies
- A track record of scaling products and improving reliability, performance, and quality
- Ability to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution, making thoughtful trade-offs along the way
- Experience turning customer feedback and market insights into actionable product decisions
- Confidence working cross-functionally and driving alignment across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in B2B software product management or a related role with commercial responsibility
- 3+ years of experience in the payments industry (merchant, gateway, processor, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Nice to have:
- Product management certification (such as Pragmatic Marketing)
- 8+ years of experience in B2B product management or related roles
- Payments-related certifications
