Partners with Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing, Finance, and Technology to identify gaps, define requirements, evaluate build-versus-buy options, lead vendor implementations, improve integrations and data governance, and drive user adoption. Infobase exists to power informed decisions. For decades, schools, libraries, and institutions have turned to our resources to build information literacy and help learners develop the skills they need to succeed long after the classroom. We build the platforms and content that make that possible, and right now we're growing the team behind them.

The Senior Product Manager, Revenue Systems is a senior individual contributor who owns the solutions strategy for the internal systems that support Infobase’s revenue-generating teams — Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, and Marketing — including the in-house Account and Order Management System (AMS), the outbound marketing email platform (GreenArrow), the customer success platform (ChurnZero), revenue-centric reporting, and the tooling that will join them (most immediately, a CRM for the Sales organization). The role bridges business strategy and technical execution: partnering with business-line leaders to understand needs, proposing “what good looks like,” evaluating build versus buy, managing requirements definition for anything built internally, and leading vendor selection, onboarding, implementation, and integration for anything bought — through to user training, support, and adoption.

This is explicitly not an order-taker role. Infobase’s revenue technology has grown organically and the seams are showing; teams too often work around systems rather than through them. The Senior Product Manager is expected to be a strategic partner who proactively identifies opportunities, challenges inefficiency, and drives a coherent roadmap toward industry-standard tooling — accountable for ensuring revenue teams have the best tools, technologies, and business processes necessary to drive success, through a combination of internal engineering and third-party adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain a forward-looking, prioritized product roadmap for AMS and the connected revenue systems portfolio; ensure ongoing development reflects organizational priorities and industry best practices, and present progress and recommendations directly to ELT stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary technology partner and cross-functional liaison between revenue-generating teams (Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing), Finance, and the Technology organization.
  • Partner with business-line leaders to understand workflows, diagnose capability gaps, and surface inefficiencies; bring forward proposals of what good looks like rather than waiting for requests.
  • Assess current system capabilities against business requirements; identify gaps, redundancies, and enhancement opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements and prioritized feature backlogs for the internal engineering team; provide direction to developers and BI resources and remain accountable for the success of delivered solutions.
  • Lead structured build-versus-buy assessments, including vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept trials, and integration assessments; present recommendations with supporting rationale and total-cost awareness.
  • Manage vendor selection, onboarding, implementation, and integration of approved third-party solutions, ensuring they connect meaningfully with existing systems and data flows.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of a CRM solution for the Sales organization — the most critical near-term technology gap.
  • Ensure users are appropriately trained and supported on all revenue systems; own change management and drive measurable adoption of delivered solutions.
  • Define requirements for customer, subscription, renewal, and revenue-centric reporting and dashboards; ensure data integrity and accessibility across AMS and connected systems; establish data governance and integration best practices.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend AI-powered solutions that meaningfully improve revenue team efficiency and effectiveness — including marketing automation, churn prediction, and sales enablement intelligence.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for each initiative; report outcomes to ELT stakeholders on a regular cadence in clear, executive-ready form.
  • Maintain awareness of the CRM and revenue technology landscape; facilitate structured alignment on priorities and tradeoffs, pushing back constructively when requests conflict with scalability or strategy.

Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in product management, technical program management, revenue operations, or enterprise business systems.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives end-to-end — discovery, requirements definition, vendor evaluation, implementation oversight, change management, and adoption — including executive stakeholder management.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM, customer success, and marketing automation platforms; prior vendor evaluation and SaaS implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of revenue operations workflows and customer lifecycle management in B2B subscription businesses.
  • Strong data literacy: able to assess system integrations, diagnose data-flow breakdowns, and define reporting requirements without being a practitioner.
  • Working fluency with AI-enabled tools and practical judgment about where AI (automation, predictive modeling, LLM-powered workflows) can be applied to real business problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — equally effective presenting a strategic roadmap to the leadership team, facilitating requirements conversations with strong-willed stakeholders, and working through details with a developer.
  •
    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based, or information services businesses; EdTech domain experience a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with proprietary or custom-built systems operating alongside commercial SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in a business context.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • PMP, CSPO, or similar product/program management certification.
  • Experience working in private-equity-backed or growth-stage companies and the operating disciplines that come with them.

Core Competencies

Core competencies are aligned to the Compensable Factors Matrix and serve as the framework for performance discussions, evaluations, and development planning.

Domain & Technical Knowledge: Strong command of CRM platforms, revenue operations workflows, and customer lifecycle management; understands data flow between operational and reporting systems, integration ecosystems, and the evolving AI tooling landscape.

Job Complexity: Highly complex; manages multiple concurrent build and buy workstreams with shifting priorities; sizes and prioritizes requests based on effort, impact, and ROI; balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a small-company environment.

Autonomy / Supervision: Administrative direction; reports to the CTO; self-directs effectively in a remote environment; anticipates needs and acts with agency rather than waiting to receive requests.

Impact of Error: Decisions directly shape the tooling, vendor spend, and business processes of all revenue-generating teams; errors can impact revenue performance, renewals, data integrity, and organizational trust.

Collaboration: High collaboration; primary liaison between revenue teams and Technology; builds trust and influence without authority; communicates courageously with an opinionated leadership team; manages up, across, and through.

Supervision Exercised: No direct reports; provides work direction and requirements to software developers and BI resources; accountable for the success of delivered solutions without people-management authority.

Growth & Advancement

This is the first dedicated product ownership role for Infobase's revenue-supporting systems — a new investment in how we grow, not a backfill. The scope of this role is expected to expand with demonstrated impact, with paths toward Principal Product Manager (owning a broader enterprise systems portfolio, including finance and back-office operations) or Director-level leadership of a business systems function as the organization scales.

If you are passionate about education and learning and and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and complete the application questions below. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

This posting is for a full-time position, and includes a full suite of benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K and a generous paid time off plan.
