Senior Product Manager - Public Benefit

System is hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the development of tools and platforms that advance open science, empower researchers, and foster vibrant scientific communities. You will translate complex research workflows into intuitive, impactful products, integrate diverse research data, and collaborate across teams to accelerate reproducible, systems-based science. This person will report to our Head of Product.

As Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Own the vision and roadmap for products that accelerate open science and support researchers worldwide
• Build and nurture communities of scientists to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and launch features that maximize scientific impact
• Gather feedback from the research community to continuously refine and prioritize product development
• Measure real-world impact on research efficiency, collaboration, and discovery

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience as a mission-driven product leader passionate about advancing open science and accelerating discovery
• Experience building products that serve researchers and scientific communities
• A passion for advancing open science and enabling collaborative, transparent research tools
• A data-driven and user-focused approach to product development, iterating based on feedback and measurable impact
• Experience in community building or working within research/scientific organizations is highly desirable
• A proven ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated team orientation with strong ability to drive projects autonomously as needed

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $185,000 per year.
