We believe that stablecoins are more than a payment tool — they’re a better form of banking. Perena is building the Stablebank Network: an ecosystem that connects stablecoin infrastructure, liquidity rails, yield strategies, and payments into one protocol.

We launched and scaled Numéraire, the largest stableswap on Solana with over $2B in cumulative volume. Today we're building:

• USD* — a yield-bearing synthetic dollar earning across lending markets, liquidity strategies, and real-world assets through a multi-strategy approach

• USD*-P / USD*-J — a tranched credit architecture sitting on top of USD*: a fixed-rate senior tranche for capital preservation, and a junior tranche that absorbs first-loss risk in exchange for amplified yield

• StableBank — a consumer savings product built on USD*, targeting dollar savers in emerging markets who want a better alternative to local currency

• Perena Vaults — programmable structured credit infrastructure for institutions and protocols to deploy capital into customized yield strategies

Perena was a sponsor of the Colosseum Hackathon Stablecoin Track, helping fund the next generation of stablecoin projects on Solana. Our growing community spans over 20,000 developers, users, and builders aligned around one goal: reinventing how money works.

You'll be the first dedicated PM at Perena, working directly with the CEO and our engineering team. You'll own two product surfaces simultaneously: the core DeFi protocol (vaults, yield strategies, RWA integrations) and the consumer StableBank product (onboarding, savings UX, off-ramp).

This is an early-stage role, which means you'll shape what product management looks like here. The upside is that your decisions actually matter. You'll need to be highly effective working directly with engineers and be comfortable operating without a lot of process.

• Design and ship the product: vault architecture decisions, yield strategy prioritization, RWA asset onboarding, etc. you will be working with other engineers on hands-on deploying code.

• Consumer product: StableBank UX, onboarding flows, KYC/off-ramp vendor selection, and GTM for emerging market users

• Roadmap: maintain a clear, prioritized backlog across both surfaces

• User research: talk to users regularly, synthesize feedback into product decisions, and bring the outside world into the team

• Specs and PRDs: write clear, detailed briefs that engineers can build from without constant back-and-forth

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally at a fintech, consumer finance, or asset management company OR an experienced engineer who can confidently make product decisions and bring a product from idea to life.

• Experience owning a 0→1 product

• Strong written communication: you write specs that engineers understand and that stakeholders trust

• Genuine curiosity about crypto and stablecoins: you don't need to be a DeFi native, but you need to want to go deep

Strong signal:

• Background in consumer savings, payments, neobanking, or wealth management — you understand how people think about money

• Experience working in or with emerging markets — you have intuition for users outside the US financial system

• Asset management or custody product experience — you understand institutional-grade yield products

• You've worked at a startup with fewer than 20 people and thrived
