Role overview

At LucidLink, we build a cloud-native file streaming platform that enables distributed teams to work with massive files in real time. Our technology sits close to the infrastructure layer and is used in performance-critical, workflow-heavy environments.

As our Senior Technical Marketing Manager you’ll be a technically fluent, hands-on product marketer responsible for translating LucidLink’s APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities into clear positioning, use cases, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and commercial impact.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing, helping shape how LucidLink’s platform story is understood by developers, IT and platform teams, partners, and enterprise buyers.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop a strong working understanding of LucidLink’s platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, and technical workflows through close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and customers.

  • Define positioning and messaging for LucidLink’s platform capabilities, developer experiences, and integrations, translating technical depth into clear value for both technical and business audiences.

  • Own end-to-end go-to-market for platform capabilities, including API enhancements, developer-facing features, integrations, and technical use cases.

  • Create technical use-case marketing that shows how customers can automate workflows, integrate LucidLink into existing systems, and extend the platform through APIs and tooling.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Web, and Documentation teams to improve discoverability and clarity of LucidLink’s platform capabilities across our website, product surfaces, and developer documentation.

  • Build internal sales and solutions enablement that helps the field explain how the platform works, where it fits, and how customers should think about adopting it.

  • Help shape the foundations of LucidLink’s platform marketing motion, establishing frameworks for launches, messaging boundaries, and platform storytelling as this capability evolves.

Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, particularly with technically complex products such as infrastructure, platforms, APIs, developer tools, or enterprise software.

  • Proven experience bringing technical capabilities to market, such as APIs, integrations, platforms, SDKs, or other developer-facing functionality.

  • Strong technical fluency and comfort working with concepts such as APIs, authentication models, integrations, developer documentation, and system architecture.

  • Demonstrated ownership of go-to-market strategy and execution for technical features or capabilities.

  • Experience translating deep technical capabilities into clear messaging and narratives for both practitioners and enterprise decision-makers.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, and Solutions Engineering to shape launches and influence product direction.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity, helping define processes and frameworks as the product and platform evolve.

You’re probably not a fit if …
  • Your experience is primarily in brand, content, or lifecycle marketing without owning product go-to-market or technical positioning.

  • You haven’t worked with developer-facing products, APIs, integrations, or platform capabilities.

  • You’re uncomfortable engaging with technical audiences such as developers, IT teams, or solutions engineers.

  • You prefer working with fully defined processes rather than helping build new ones.

  • You haven’t worked closely with product managers or engineers to understand how a system actually works.

What we would like to see accomplished in the first 90 days
  • Advancing the first clear market-facing platform presence on lucidlink.com, aligning with Product and Engineering on what exists today and helping create a clear platform entry point.

  • Creating one core platform asset set, such as a platform overview page, one technical use-case brief, and one explainer or demo tied to a key workflow.

  • Developing a “current state vs. next state” framework for LucidLink’s platform capabilities, clarifying what is available today, what is evolving, and how the field should position each element.

About our team

You'll be joining a crew of passionate problem-solvers who believe in the power of technology to make a real difference. We're a remote-first team that values clear communication, curiosity, and close collaboration with product and engineering. You can expect lively debates about positioning and product direction, a strong connection to the technology we build, and a team that moves quickly to turn ideas into market-facing results.

We’re particularly excited about the opportunity to evolve LucidLink from a powerful collaboration product into a broader platform that customers and partners can build into their workflows, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help shape that story.

How you'll make an impact

Imagine helping a platform team realize they can automate complex storage administration through a workflow you helped articulate. Imagine a developer discovering LucidLink’s API capabilities and realizing they can integrate the platform directly into their systems. Imagine a sales team walking into a technical conversation with confidence because your messaging made the platform story clear.

As our Senior Product Marketing Manager for Platform, you’ll help shape how LucidLink is understood not just as a collaboration product, but as a technical platform that can power automation, integration, and scalable workflows across organizations.

Interview process

It's our goal to determine whether you're a good fit for our team, customers, and culture. We'll also give you room to ask questions so you can determine if LucidLink is right for you. The steps for this role are as follows:

  • Initial recruiter interview

  • Hiring manager interview

  • Cross-functional interviews

  • Product marketing take-home assessment

  • Skills assessment presentation

  • Final leadership interview with our CMO

At LucidLink, AI fluency is a core professional competency. As part of our interview process, we'll explore how you currently use AI tools in your work and how you think about using them responsibly.
