We live in a world where technology is rapidly changing the educational experiences of students and teachers everywhere, and we have the opportunity to shape how this change takes place. Kira's mission is to harness transformative AI technologies to make world-class personalized teaching and learning accessible to everyone. We are a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier Venture Capital funds including New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Andrew Ng's AI Fund, and Primavera.

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to translate Kira's platform capabilities into compelling narratives that drive adoption among educators, administrators, and institutional decision-makers. You'll own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy that resonates with our target audiences. This is a clarity-obsessed role: you'll cut through the noise of AI hype and generic EdTech promises to articulate exactly why Kira is different, and why that difference matters for learning outcomes.

What You'll Do

Positioning & Messaging

  • Own Kira's core positioning as the first AI Operating System for education, and develop messaging frameworks that articulate it consistently across every internal and external audience: educators, curriculum leaders, institutional administrators, government officials, and corporate learning leaders.

  • Conduct competitive analysis that goes beyond feature matrices to capture positioning and market perception, and craft differentiation narratives that make Kira's unique value clear.

  • Evolve positioning as the product and market develop, keeping messaging fresh and relevant.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Enablement to build effective GTM motions for different market segments and deal types.

  • Create sales enablement materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and objection-handling guides.

  • Plan and execute product launches that generate awareness and demand.

Customer & Market Intelligence

  • Build a deep understanding of Kira's customers - what they care about, how they make decisions, what objections they raise - and synthesize voice-of-customer insights to inform product and marketing strategy.

  • Track EdTech and AI market trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Product to understand the roadmap and translate new capabilities into market-facing narratives.

  • Work with the Learning team to develop proof points around pedagogical quality and learning outcomes.

  • Collaborate with Design on visual identity and brand consistency.

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of product marketing experience in education technology (preferred), B2B SaaS, or enterprise software, including 2+ years managing direct reports.

  • Proven ability to develop differentiating positioning in competitive markets.

  • Experience marketing products with complex value propositions to multiple buyer personas.

  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to make technical concepts accessible.

  • Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where priorities shift.

Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Kira's positioning is clear, differentiated, and consistently articulated across all channels.

  • The go-to-market team has the materials it needs and actively uses them.

  • The Kira 2.0 launch generates significant market awareness and qualified demand.

  • The market increasingly recognizes Kira as the category leader in AI-native education.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and equity. For applicants in the US, the compensation range for this role is $160,000 – $210,000, depending on relevant experience and skill set.

  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance, including a medical insurance plan with 100% coverage of employee premiums.

  • DoorDash credit for lunch daily.

  • Wellhub Membership: 100% company-paid access to premium gym networks (Orangetheory, SoulCycle), 60+ wellness apps (Headspace, MyFitnessPal, Apple Fitness+), and 1:1 coaching sessions spanning fitness, mental health, nutrition, and sleep.

  • Dog friendly office 🐶.

Equal Employment Opportunity Employer

Kira believes that diversity and inclusion among our employees are critical to our success as a company, and we seek to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool. Selection for employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need.

At Kira, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

Background Check

Kira will make a conditional job offer in line with local, state and federal laws, and a subsequent criminal, education, and employment history background check will then be issued.
