About Yepoda

Our mission is to bring Clean K-Beauty Innovations, from Korea straight to Europe, UK, and the US – without ever compromising on our values, quality, and sustainability. Our clean, mindfully produced skincare products are made with love in Korea, vegan, cruelty-free, and packed with the best natural and active ingredients.

Founded in 2020 by Sander Joonyoung van Bladel and Veronika Strotmann, Yepoda is a fast-growing beauty start-up based in the heart of Berlin. Our products are available across Europe and, since March 2025, at Sephora Europe – online and in over 250 stores. As a certified B Corp™, we are committed to building a business with purpose. With a team of over 120 brilliant individuals from around the world, we are actively shaping Yepoda’s story every day.

We are looking for a Senior Data & Analytics Product Owner to join our growing Data team at Yepoda. In this role, you will partner closely with our Head of Data & Technology to shape how we build and ship data and analytics products across the business — driving alignment with stakeholders, prototyping ideas hands-on, and making sure our data capabilities translate into real commercial outcomes.

Your Tasks
  • Own the company-wide analytics function, i.e., the KPI framework, reporting cadence, BI tooling/glossary, and our decision-support and reporting standards.

  • Own the product delivery roadmap for data initiatives for Yepoda's central Data analytics team.

  • Translate commercial questions (CAC/LTV, channel mix, contribution margin, cohort behaviour, inventory turnover, etc.) from Marketing, Operations, Finance and other functions into scoped, prioritized data products and repeatable analyses.

  • Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that data engineering and analytics teams can execute against without ambiguity. Be the person who closes the gap between "the business wants something" and "the team knows what to build."

  • Lead discovery and drive experimentation with stakeholders for new data capabilities, from self-serve analytics tooling to ML-powered features.

Your Profile
  • 3-5 years in a product management or product owner role in BI or Analytics or closely adjacent role at a relevant D2C, e-commerce, or consumer brand.

  • Strong business understanding, you think in terms of impact, not just output. Deep understanding of D2C metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, CIR/ROAS, contribution margin, cohort analytics, marketing attribution, etc).

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to operate at C-level, translating fuzzy commercial questions into sharp, defensible analyses

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment. You create structure rather than waiting for it.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have
  • Exposure to modern data stack concepts (data warehouses, Self-Serve Analytics tools, ML pipelines); you don't need to build them, but knowing the landscape helps.

  • Experience writing SQL or working directly with data and AI tools such as Omni and Claude.

What We Offer
  • Dynamic Environment: The opportunity to work in a start-up environment surrounded by a passionate and dedicated team.

  • Accelerate Your Career: Take on responsibility from day 1, with room for professional growth and advancement as the company continues to expand.

  • Inspiring Workspace: Located in the heart of Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg, a dog-friendly office, with free drinks and snacks.

  • Hybrid Working: We understand that sometimes you get more stuff done from home and need a change of scenery.

  • We Value Diversity: We seek to build an inclusive workplace that welcomes people from all different backgrounds. A welcoming, international, dedicated team with flat hierarchies and trust by default.

  • Employee Discounts: You’ll get to enjoy the Yepoda products at a discount and share it with friends and family to keep your glow going!

  • Unique Add Ons: A monthly benefits budget that's yours to spend. Through the Probonio app you pick what actually fits your lifestyle.

Would you like to be part of the team? Then we'd love to hear from you! 🫰✨
